Product Overview
The ThermoPro TP-01H is a digital instant-read thermometer designed for accurate temperature measurement of food.
Key Components:
- Display: Shows the current temperature reading.
- /°C/°F Button: Turns the unit on/off and switches between Celsius and Fahrenheit.
- LOCK Button: Locks the current temperature reading.
- LIGHT Button: Activates the backlight for the display.

Before First Use
- Insert or replace the CR2032 battery, ensuring correct polarity.
- Clean the stainless steel probe tip with a warm, soapy sponge or cloth, then rinse and dry.
- Do not immerse the main body of the thermometer in water.
- The thermometer is now ready for use.
How to Measure Food Temperature
- Press the /°C/°F button to turn on the thermometer.
- Press the /°C/°F button again to toggle between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F). The last selected unit will be saved for future use.
- Insert the tip of the probe into the food being cooked.
- Press the LIGHT button to turn on the backlight, which will automatically turn off after 15 seconds.
- Wait for the temperature reading on the display to stabilize.
- Press the LOCK button to freeze the current temperature reading. Press again to unlock.
- To turn off the thermometer, press and hold the /°C/°F button for 3 seconds. The unit also features an auto-off function, turning off after 10 minutes of inactivity.
Helpful Hints
- For measuring multiple foods, rinse the probe tip with cold water between readings to cool it down.
- Wipe the probe tip clean between readings, especially when measuring different types of food.
- This thermometer is designed for temporary, hand-held use. Do NOT leave it in an oven or in extremely hot foods/liquids (above 572°F/300°C) for more than one minute.
- Always take readings from the thickest part of the meat, avoiding bone and heavy fat areas. If the tip touches bone or fat, or is not inserted deeply enough, take a second reading for accuracy.
- This product is not intended for use by persons aged 12 or under.
Care of Your Thermometer
- Avoid touching the stainless steel probe during or immediately after use, as it will be hot.
- Do not place the unit in a dishwasher or immerse it in any liquid.
- Clean the probe tip with a damp, soapy cloth or sponge, then dry thoroughly.
- Avoid exposing the thermometer to extreme high or low temperatures, which can damage electronic components and plastics.
- Do not leave the thermometer inserted in food during the cooking process.
- Remove the battery if the unit will be stored for more than four months.
