Safety & Warnings

Read all safety notes and instructions before first use even if you are familiar with this product. Retain this user guide for future reference.

• This product contains small parts and is not suitable for children under 3 years of age. It includes electronic components and must not be used in water or humid environments. Periodically inspect the wires, plugs, casing, and other components of the charger for any signs of damage. If any damage is found, discontinue use immediately.
• Keep detachable small parts stored safely and out of reach of children.
• The remote control may not function correctly if the batteries are low. Replace the batteries if needed.
• Dispose of old or used batteries responsibly. Do not discard in general waste.
• Store the product in a cool, dry place.
• Do not expose the product to open flames, high humidity, or high temperatures.
• If the product will not be used for an extended period, recharge the battery regularly.
• The rechargeable battery and its charger are not toys and should be kept out of reach of children.
• This product uses a 3.7V 600mAh rechargeable battery.
• The remote control is powered by 2 1.5V AAA non-rechargeable alkaline batteries.
• When installing batteries in the remote control, ensure the polarity matches the markings inside the battery compartment.
• Battery charging must be supervised by an adult.
• Do not mix new and used batteries or different types of batteries in the remote control.
• Do not attempt to recharge the non-rechargeable batteries used in the remote control.
• Remove drained batteries from the remote control promptly.
• Do not short circuit, dissect, incinerate, or submerge batteries in water.
• Do not short circuit any terminals.
• Ensure the rated input voltage of the power adapter matches your local mains supply, and the output voltage matches the USB input requirements.
• It is normal for the charger and battery to become warm during charging.

The remote control has the following buttons:

Operation

Installing Batteries in the Remote Control

1. Release the screw using a Phillips head screwdriver and remove the battery cover.
2. Install 2 x 1.5V AAA batteries (not supplied) into the battery compartment. Pay attention to the orientation of the polarity symbols (-, +).
3. Replace the battery cover and tighten the screw.

Charging the Robot Dog's Battery

1. To charge the product, use the USB charging cable provided. First, from underneath the robot dog, release the screw using a Phillips head screwdriver and remove the battery cover.
2. Disconnect and remove the rechargeable battery from the robot dog.
3. Connect the USB charging cable to a power source using one of the following methods:
   • Computer charging: Insert the USB plug into a computer USB port. Then connect the battery plug to the USB charging cable. The USB charging indicator will remain steadily lit while charging. After approximately 120 minutes, the indicator will turn off, indicating that charging is complete.
   • DC device charging: Connect the USB plug to a USB power source that supplies 5V DC with a current of at least 500mA (such as a USB wall adapter or power bank). Then insert the other end into the lithium battery socket. The USB charging indicator will remain steadily lit while charging. After approximately 120 minutes, the indicator will turn off, indicating that charging is complete.
4. Once charging is complete, connect the battery to the correct electrodes in the battery compartment. Replace the battery cover and secure it with the previously removed screw.

Notes:

• Only use the USB charging cable supplied with the product to recharge the battery.
• The charging process must be supervised by an adult.

Power and Sleep Functions

• Power-On: Press the 'Power' button on the robot dog. It will play a voice prompt and perform a series of motions before entering standby mode.
• Standby / Sleep Mode: While in standby mode, the robot dog plays a voice prompt every 5 seconds for 5 cycles. On the sixth cycle, it will announce it is going to sleep and enter sleep mode. Once in sleep mode, it can only be reactivated by turning it off and on again.
• Power-Off: Press the 'Power' button on the robot dog to turn it off.

Voice Control Phrases and Responses

For optimal voice interaction, aim the remote control directly at the robot dog from up to 3 metres and speak in standard English. If the response is delayed or inaccurate, recharge the robot dog. Avoid using the robot in noisy environments for best results.

Remote Control Operation

• Forward: Press the 'Forward' button to move forward. Hold to continue movement.

• Backward: Press the 'Backward' button to move backwards. Hold to continue movement.

• Turn Left: Press and hold the left turn button to turn left. Release to stop turning.
• Turn Right: Press and hold the right turn button to turn right. Release to stop turning.

• Demo: Press the demo button to enter programming mode. Press other buttons to program a sequence. Press the demo button again to execute the program.
• Volume +: Press the volume up button to increase the volume. There are four levels. Default is level three. Voice prompts include ‘Volume up' and 'It's the maximum volume.'
• Volume -: Press the volume down button to reduce the volume. Voice prompts include 'Volume down' and 'It's the minimum volume.'
• Sit Down: Press the sit button and the robot dog will sit.

• Handstand: Press the handstand button and the robot dog will flip into a handstand with sound.
• Get Down: Press the down button and the robot dog will lie down with barking and panting sounds.

• Push-Up: Press the push-up button and the robot dog will lie down and simulate push-ups with sound.

• Play Cute: Press the cute mode button to activate playful actions and sound effects.
• Voice Recognition: Press the speech recognition button to activate listening mode. The remote indicator will stay lit. Speak voice commands clearly. Press the button again to deactivate listening mode.
• Dancing: Press the dance button to play a random dance song with motion.
• Song: Press the song button to play a random song with movements.
• Manual Follow: Hold the follow button to activate. Voice prompt: "Hi, dear. The brand goes for a walk? I'm ready!" The dog will follow. If no signal is received for 20 seconds, it says, "Oh, darling. Could you slow down a little bit? I can't keep up with you." Releasing the button exits follow mode.

• Stop / Standby: Press the stop button during operation or playback. The voice says "Attention!" and the robot dog stops and enters standby.
