Introduction

The operation principle of the air grill is to circulate hot air flow inside the work basket, so the food is cooked evenly on all sides, it is tender inside and crispy outside. This cooking principle allows to cook with minimal amount of oil or without it.

ATTENTION!

For additional protection it is reasonable to install a residual current device (RCD) with nominal operation current not exceeding 30 mA into the mains. To install RCD, contact a specialist.

Safety Measures and Operation Recommendations

Read the operation manual carefully before using the air fryer; after reading, keep it for future reference.

  • Use the air fryer for its intended purpose only, as specified in this manual.
  • Mishandling the air fryer can lead to its breakage and cause harm to the user or damage to the user's property, which is not covered by warranty.
  • Make sure that the operating voltage of the unit indicated on the label corresponds to your home mains voltage.
  • Connect the power plug to the socket with reliable grounding contact.
  • Do not connect the unit to external timers or remote control mains sockets.
  • To avoid stains on the surface on which the air fryer is installed, it is recommended to place the air fryer on an additional heat-resistant stand.
  • The gap between the wall and the back of the air fryer body should be at least 20-30 cm, the distance from the sides of the air fryer body should be at least 10-20 cm, and the free space over the air fryer should be at least 20 cm.
  • Always check the condition of the air inlet grids and hot air outlet grids, otherwise the hot air circulation will be impaired, which can affect the cooking process or damage the unit.
  • Do not use the unit outdoors.
  • It is not recommended to use the unit during lightning storms.
  • Protect the air fryer against impacts, falling, vibrations and other mechanical stress.
  • Never leave the unit connected to the electric mains unattended.
  • Do not use the air fryer in places where aerosols are used or sprayed, and in proximity to inflammable liquids.
  • Do not use the air fryer in proximity to the kitchen sink, in bathrooms, near swimming pools or other containers filled with water.
  • If the air fryer is dropped into water, unplug it immediately, and only then you can take the unit out of water. Apply to the service center for testing or repairing the unit.
  • Do not let the power cord touch hot surfaces and sharp edges of furniture.
  • The air fryer body heats up strongly during operation, do not touch hot surfaces marked with ➔ to avoid burns.
  • Do not move the air fryer when it is hot; wait until it cools down completely.
  • Use the unit in places with proper ventilation.
  • Use only the air fryer parts supplied with the unit.
  • Do not switch the air fryer on without products.
  • Take the products out of the air fryer right after cooking; keeping products in the operating air fryer for a long time can cause their ignition.
  • Never use metal objects to take the cooked food out, as they can damage the non-stick coating of the basket; use the kitchen tools intended for non-stick surfaces.
  • Unplug the unit after usage or before cleaning. When unplugging the air fryer, hold the power plug and carefully remove it from the mains socket, do not pull the power cord, as this can lead to its damage and cause a short circuit.
  • Do not touch the unit body, the power cord and the power plug with wet hands.
  • For child safety reasons do not leave polyethylene bags used as packaging unattended.
  • ATTENTION! Do not allow children to play with polyethylene bags or packaging film. Danger of suffocation!
  • The unit is not intended for usage by children.
  • Do not leave children unattended to prevent using the unit as a toy.
  • Do not allow children to touch the unit body, the power cord or the power plug during operation of the unit.
  • Be especially careful if children or disabled persons are near the operating unit.
  • During the unit operation and breaks between operation cycles, place the unit out of reach of children.
  • The unit is not intended for usage by sensory, physically or mentally disabled persons (including children) or by persons lacking experience or knowledge if they are not under supervision of a person who is responsible for their safety or if they are not instructed by this person on the usage of the unit.
  • From time to time check the power cord integrity.
  • If the power cord is damaged, it should be replaced by the manufacturer, a maintenance service or similar qualified personnel to avoid danger.
  • Do not repair the unit by yourself. Do not disassemble the unit by yourself, if any malfunction is detected, and after the unit was dropped, unplug it and apply to the authorized service center.
  • To avoid damages, transport the unit in the original package.
  • Keep the unit in a dry cool place out of reach of children and disabled persons.

Before the First Use

After unit transportation or storage at negative temperature, unpack it and wait for 3 hours before using.

  • Unpack the unit and remove all the packaging materials.
  • Keep the original package.

Using the Air Fryer

Read the safety measures and operating recommendations.

  • Check the delivery set.
  • Examine the unit for damages; if the unit is damaged, do not plug it into the mains.
  • Make sure that the indicated specifications of the power supply voltage of the unit correspond to the specifications of your mains. When the unit is used in the mains with 60 Hz frequency, it does not need any additional settings.
  • Install and use the air fryer on a flat, dry, steady and heat-resistant surface with free access to the mains socket.
  • Clean the air fryer body (5) with a slightly damp cloth and then wipe it dry.
  • Take the handle (1) and remove the tray (7) with the grid (6).
  • Remove the grid (6).
  • Wash the grid (6) with warm water and neutral detergent, rinse it and wipe dry.
  • Clean the tray (7) from the outside and inside with a slightly damp cloth and then wipe it dry.
  • Install the grid (6) in the tray (7).
  • Install the tray (7) with the grid (6) in the air fryer. Note: if the tray is not fixed in the air fryer body, the air fryer will not switch on, always make sure that the tray (7) is installed properly.

Switching the air fryer on for the first time

  • To remove any foreign smells, switch the air fryer on without products.
  • Insert the power plug into the mains socket, and the illumination of the ⏻ On/Off button (8) will light up, and the air fryer will switch to standby mode.
  • Give the seafood program ? power button (13) a quick press, the digital symbols (9) will display the 190°C temperature, the temperature value is set by default, the operation time in this mode is 6 minutes, also set by default.
  • Press the ⏻ On/Off button (8) again, the air fryer will switch on.
  • If you want to switch the air fryer off earlier, press and hold the ⏻ On/Off button (8) for 2 seconds, the air fryer will switch off, and the air fryer fan will continue to operate for 60 seconds, it is necessary to cool down the heating element.

Note: when using the unit for the first time, a foreign smell or some smoke from the heating elements can appear - this is normal and it is not covered by warranty.

CAUTION!

  • The air fryer is not intended for boiling water.
  • While the air fryer is operating, the hot air and steam will and hot steam will come out of the grid (4). Use appropriate precautions to prevent the risk of burns, fires or other personal injury or property damage.
  • The air fryer heats up during operation and retains heat for some time after it is switched off. Always use potholders when working with hot surfaces and let the metal parts cool down before cleaning the air fryer.
  • Be careful when removing cooked food from the tray, always use cooking accessories designed for non-stick surfaces when removing food.

Operation Details

  • Install and use the air fryer on a level, dry, steady and heat-resistant surface with free access to the electrical outlet.
  • The distance from the wall to the back of the air fryer body must be at least 20-30 cm, the distance from the side parts of the air fryer body must be at least 10-20 cm, and the free space above the air fryer must be at least 20 cm.
  • Always check the condition of the air inlet grids and hot air outlet grids (4), otherwise the hot air circulation will be impaired, which can affect the cooking process or damage the unit.
  • Grasp the handle (1) and pull out the drip tray (7) with the grid (6).
  • Place food in the drip tray (3), do not overfill the grid (6) with food. For proper cooking of food, hot air circulation is necessary.
  • Insert the tray (7) into the air fryer body, make sure that the tray (7) is installed properly otherwise the air fryer will be not switched on (Fig. 3).
  • Insert the power plug into an electrical outlet, the light of the on/off button (8) ⏻ will illuminate and the air fryer will enter standby mode.
  • Press the buttons (13) to select one of the 10 cooking programs (see the COOKING PROGRAMS section).
  • Press the ➔ button (12) to select the mode for setting the operation time and cooking temperature. The time and temperature are set using the +/- buttons (11) (see the Cooking Time and Temperature Setting sections).
  • During operation, the digital symbols (9) will periodically display the temperature and operation time, and the °C temperature symbol (10) or the min time symbol will also light up.
  • If you want to switch the air fryer off earlier, press and hold the ⏻ On/Off button (8) for 2 seconds, the air fryer will switch off, and the air fryer fan will continue to operate for 60 seconds, it is necessary to cool down the heating element.

Notes:

  • Through the viewing window (2), you can observe and control the cooking process.
  • During the operation of the air fryer, you can change the cooking temperature and operation time of the air fryer.
  • For even cooking, it is recommended to remove the tray (7) several times and put it on a heat-resistant surface, mix or turn the products on the grid (6). If necessary, you can adjust the cooking temperature (see the Cooking Table).
  • After finishing cooking, press and hold the ⏻ On/Off button (8) for 2 seconds, the air fryer will switch off, and the air fryer fan will continue to operate for 60 seconds, it is necessary to cool down the heating element, then remove the tray (7), put it on the heat-resistant surface, remove the food from the grid (6), and use kitchen tools intended for non-stick surfaces.
  • After finishing the operation, unplug the unit.

Cooking Programs

  • Insert the power plug into the mains socket, and the illumination of the ⏻ On/Off button (8) will light up, and the air fryer will switch to standby mode.
  • Press the buttons (13) to select one of the 10 cooking programs, the symbol of the selected program will be displayed with the corresponding indicator, the cooking temperature and time set by default can be found in the Cooking Table.
  • Press the ⏻ On/Off button (8), the cooking program will switch on.
  • During operation, the digital symbols (9) will periodically display the temperature and operation time, and the °C temperature symbol (10) or the min time symbol will also light up.

Notes:

  • The cooking time and temperatures are given for reference, the result of cooking depends on the product size and shape.
  • It is recommended to add 5 minutes to the cooking time if the air fryer is not warmed up.
  • If you find the cooking result unsatisfactory, you can increase or decrease the cooking time/ cooking temperature or product weight.
  • After selecting the cooking program, you can set the cooking temperature and time according to your own recipe.

Settings

Cooking Temperature Setting

  • To set the cooking temperature, press the ➔ button (12), by pressing the + or - buttons (11) you can set the cooking temperature in the range from 80°C to 200°C, the setting step is 5 degrees.
  • The set temperature is indicated by the digital symbols (9) and the °C symbol (10).

Cooking Time Setting

  • To set the cooking time, press the ➔ button (12), by pressing the + or - buttons (11) you can set the cooking time, the setting step is 1 minute.
  • The set time is displayed by the digital symbols (9) and the min symbol.

Notes:

  • It is not recommended to use the air fryer for more than two hours, make breaks between operations of the air fryer every hour.
  • In the Fruit Drying program, you can set the operation time from 30 to 120 minutes.

Recommendations

  • When you fry food in the air fryer, it is recommended to add a small amount of refined olive or vegetable oil, the oil can be applied to the food with a brush or use an oil sprayer, this option is more economical and the oil will be applied to the food more evenly.
  • Do not overfill the grill (6) with food.
  • For best results, some foods may need to be turned over while air frying.
  • To avoid excess smoke, when cooking foods with a naturally high fat content such as chicken wings or sausages, it may be necessary to drain the fat from the tray (7), and it is recommended to cook such foods in small batches.
  • Before placing food on the grill (6), make sure that it is dry, if necessary, remove excess moisture, this will help to get a crust on the food and reduce the amount of steam and smoke escaping.
  • When frying breaded foods, make sure that the breading does not peel off the food and position the food pieces so that they do not touch, this will ensure good circulation of hot air between the products.
  • You can reheat the food in the air fryer. It is recommended to set the temperature not higher that 140°C and the operation time no more than 10 minutes.
  • To kill various harmful bacteria, it is recommended to cook such meat as beef, lamb at an internal temperature of 63°C. Pork should be cooked at the internal temperature of 71°C and poultry products should be cooked at the internal temperature of 77°C - 82°C.
  • When reheating meat/poultry products, they should also be heated to the internal temperature of 74°C.
  • Use a cooking thermometer to measure the temperature.

Troubles and Troubleshooting

Malfunction Possible cause Solution
The air fryer is not operating The power cord plug is not inserted into an electrical outlet. Insert the power plug into an electrical outlet.
The tray is not fully inserted into the air fryer body. Install the tray correctly.
You haven't turned on the air fryer. Turn on the air fryer by pressing the on/off button.
Food is undercooked at the end of the cooking program. There is too much food on the grill. Place less food on the grill. Small portions of food cook more evenly.
A low cooking temperature has been set. Set the cooking temperature to a higher temperature.
The set time is not enough to cook the food. Increase the food preparation time.
Foods are not evenly cooked in the air grill. Some foods are recommended to be turned over halfway through the cooking time. During cooking, it is necessary to ensure even distribution of the food on the grill and ensure free passage of hot air between the products.
Food is not cooked until crispy. You used food that is meant to be cooked in a traditional deep fryer. Use oven-safe foods or lightly brush foods with vegetable oil for a crispy finish.
White smoke comes out of the air fryer. You cook fatty foods, the fat leaks out and ends up at the bottom of the tray. When you cook fatty foods, the fat leaks out and gets to the bottom of the tray, and white smoke will be released when the tray heats up. White smoke does not in any way affect the final result of cooking products or the operation of the air fryer.
Fresh French fries do not cook evenly in the fryer. There are residual fats on the grill or in the tray from previous cooking. Clean the grill and tray thoroughly after each use of the air fryer.
Fresh French fries are not crispy after cooking. The potato variety is not suitable for cooking in the air fryer. Choose a potato variety that will remain firm during cooking.
You didn't wash your potato properly before frying them in the air fryer. Rinse French fries to remove starch and remove excess moisture before cooking potatoes.
The crispness of French fries depends on the variety of potato, amount of oil and moisture in the potato. Before cooking potatoes, make sure they are dry. Cut your fries finer. Apply a small amount of vegetable oil to the fries using a brush or sprayer.

Cleaning and Care

  • Clean the air fryer after every use.
  • Turn off the air fryer and unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet, wait until the air fryer cools down completely.
  • Wipe the surface of the air fryer body (5) with a slightly damp cloth, then wipe dry.
  • Grasp the handle (1) and remove the tray (7) from the grill.
  • Pull out the grill.
  • Wash the grill (6) and the tray (7) with warm water and neutral detergent, rinse them and wipe dry.
  • Place the tray (7) with the grill (6) into the air fryer.
  • Do not use metal brushes, abrasives and solvents to clean the air fryer body and the removable parts.
  • Do not immerse the air fryer, the power cord or the power plug into water or any other liquids.

Storage

  • Clean the air fryer before taking it away for storage.
  • Keep the unit in a dry cool place out of reach of children and handicapped persons.
