Programme Overview

Our Degree Apprenticeships enable you to study for a degree without having to cover the cost of tuition, whilst gaining invaluable on-the-job training. A Degree Apprenticeship at Diodes will give you the experience and knowledge to support your future career and you will be surrounded by ambitious colleagues to help you along your journey.

Entry Requirements for England and Wales

  • Age 18+
  • 5 GCSEs grade A*-C/4-9 (or equivalent) including Maths, English, and Science and a minimum of 240/96 UCAS points, or equivalent. Some roles may also require additional technical subjects or UCAS points.

Degree Apprenticeship Programme Areas

We cover a wide range of Technical Areas and Business Areas at Diodes.

Technical Areas: Process Engineering, Quality, Design, Equipment, Facilities, R&D

Business Areas: Finance, HR, Sales & Customer Service, Marketing, Planning & Supply Chain, IT, HSE

Application Process

Our Application Window opens throughout February each year for a start date of September the same year.

  1. Application

    You will be required to complete an application form detailing why you have chosen to apply for the Degree Apprenticeship Programme at Diodes, and you will need to include all relevant education and any work experience you might have.

  2. Assessment Centre

    Following successful application, you will be invited to attend an Assessment Centre on site which consists of a tour, aptitude tests, group activities, and an individual interview with presentation. You will also get to hear more about the Degree Apprenticeship from the university we partner with.

  3. Conditional Offer

    Following a successful site interview, you may receive a conditional offer with a competitive salary and attractive benefits.

  4. Pre-Employment Checks

    Your conditional offer may be subject to evidence of your qualifications, medical checks, and any work experience reference checks.

  5. Confirmation of Employment

    Once all pre-employment checks have been completed, we can confirm the offer of your employment. Your start date will likely be September in line with the Degree Apprenticeship cohort.
