  • If using your e-scooter for the first time, practice how to use it away from public spaces and wear safety equipment. When you are confident to use your e-scooter, you can operate near other people and vehicles.
  • When riding, always follow your country's legal requirements.
  • Check that the brakes, lights, and tires are working, correctly adjusted, and in good condition before riding.
  • To ride your e-scooter safely:
  • To turn on your e-scooter, press the [power button] (M) button for 3 seconds.
  • Make sure you are wearing suitable safety equipment.
  • Power on the e-scooter.
  • Place one foot on the footrest first, and the other foot on the ground. Kick the scooter to move forward, and slowly press down the accelerating throttle.
  • To turn off your e-scooter, press the [power button] (M) button for 3 seconds.
  • NOTE: When accelerating, lean backwards to maintain your center of gravity. When decelerating, move your center of gravity by leaning forward. This will make your riding more comfortable and safer.

Braking

  • Core S3 (KS3CD): To brake correctly, release the accelerating throttle and engage the disc brake using the brake lever on the right-hand side of the handlebars, which operates the rear disc brake. At the same time, gently apply pressure with your foot to the fender brake. In addition to the disc and fender brakes, the electronic brake will cause the motor to slow down.
  • Core S4 (KS4CD): To brake correctly, release the accelerating throttle and engage the disc and drum brakes using the brake levers on the handlebars. The left-hand brake lever operates the front drum brake, and the brake lever on the right-hand side operates the rear disc brake. In addition to the disc and drum brakes, the electronic brake will cause the motor to slow down.
  • It is recommended that the rear disc brake is engaged slightly before the front drum brake to ensure smoother braking.

Indicators

  • To operate the indicators, use the Indicator Switch located on the left-hand side of the handlebars. This switch has three positions: left turn signal, off, right turn signal.
  • When the switch is pressed to show other road users that you intend to move left or right, the respective light will flash at the end of the handlebar.
  • To cancel the indicators, return the switch to the central position.
  • The indicators will only work when the e-scooter is turned on.
  • The indicators will not self-cancel; remember to cancel the indicator when the movement has been made.

Walk Mode

  • While in Walk Mode, the brake light will flash to indicate that your scooter is traveling slowly. When changing to Medium Mode, the brake light will stop flashing.
  • While in Walk Mode, the walk mode indicator will appear on the display.

Kick Stand

  • Your e-scooter has a built-in stand that allows it to be parked without the need to lean it up against anything or having to collapse it for storage.
  • To use the Kick Stand, use your foot to press it downwards until it locks into place. Lean the e-scooter so that it rests on the ground. Do not use the Kick Stand on uneven or soft surfaces.
  • To release the Kick Stand, use your foot to push it upwards and into the body of the scooter; it will lock into place. Ensure that the Kick Stand is stowed correctly before riding.
  • Be careful when deploying the kick stand, as it may cause injury if used incorrectly.

  • 1. Plug the charger lead into the e-scooter charge port. Refer to the diagram of the charging port on your e-scooter.
  • 2. Plug the charger mains lead into the mains wall socket.
  • When connected to the battery charger, the battery will start to charge, and the charge indicator will turn red. After charging is complete, the charge indicator will turn green.
  • 3. Disconnect the battery charger when fully charged and replace the rubber cap on the e-scooter charge socket.
  • NOTES:
