Data Collection and Firmware Updates
The product stores individual settings like volume and Bluetooth connection data. This data is used solely for product operation and is not transmitted to Sonova Consumer Hearing GmbH or third parties. Firmware can be updated via the Sennheiser Smart Control app using an internet connection. Data transmitted for updates includes hardware identifiers, firmware version, OS version, and app version, used only for the update process.
Headphone Use in Humid Environments
Avoid contact with moisture. Keep headphones dry. Do not use in rain, snow, showers, pools, saunas, or during activities with high humidity. Do not store with damp items or in containers that can cause condensation. Ensure the charging port is dry before charging. If headphones get wet, dry them with a cloth and let them air dry for at least 24 hours before use.

Getting Started

Charge the Battery
The battery is not fully charged upon delivery. Charge it completely before first use. The charging process takes approximately 3 hours. The LED indicator shows the charging status.

Using the Headphones
Battery Information and Charging
The headphones have an integrated battery. A full charge takes about 3 hours. The charging time may vary. Charge fully before first use. The LED indicator shows charging status. Voice prompts like "Recharge headset" will alert you when the battery is low. Charging can be done while listening to music or making calls, though it may take longer.

LED Indicators During Charging:

If the LED does not light up, clean the charging port or charge the headphones for at least 30 minutes until the LED lights up. Charging may take longer if the battery is completely depleted.
Connecting Headphones to a Bluetooth Device
To use wireless Bluetooth, you must register your headphones with your device (e.g., smartphone). This is called pairing. Refer to your Bluetooth device's manual if steps differ. When connecting for the first time, headphones automatically enter pairing mode.

Bluetooth Connection Information
The headphones are compatible with Bluetooth 5.2. They support high-quality audio codecs like aptX HD and AAC for superior sound. The headphones can remember up to six paired Bluetooth devices and automatically connect to the last two used. Audio playback is only possible from one device at a time.

Pairing Headphones with a Bluetooth Device
When connecting for the first time, the headphones automatically enter pairing mode.
- Bring headphones close to the Bluetooth device (max. 20 cm).
- Press and hold the main button for 3 seconds to turn on. The LED lights up white for 5 seconds.
- Press and hold the main button for 5 seconds to enter pairing mode. LEDs flash white and red alternately.
- Activate Bluetooth on your device.
- Search for Bluetooth devices on your device.
- Select "ACCENTUM" from the list. If prompted, enter PIN "0000".
- On successful pairing, you will hear "Pairing successful" and "Connected". The LED flashes white 3 times.

If pairing fails within 2 minutes, the mode ends, and the headphones enter standby. Repeat the steps if necessary.
Changing Bluetooth Connection
Use the Smart Control app to switch audio connections between paired Bluetooth devices. The app lists paired devices, allowing you to select a new connection. Bluetooth Low Energy is used for app communication.
Disconnecting Headphones from a Bluetooth Device
Interrupt the connection via your Bluetooth device's menu. You will hear "No connection", and the headphones enter standby mode.
Installing the Smart Control App
Download the Sennheiser Smart Control app from the Apple App Store or Google Play to access full features. Connect your smartphone to the headphones via Bluetooth and follow the in-app instructions.

Turning the Headphones On/Off
Press and hold the main button for 3 seconds to turn on. The LED lights up white for 5 seconds. If Bluetooth is active and a paired device is available, the LED flashes white 3 times and you hear "Connected". If Bluetooth is off, you only hear a tone.
To turn off, press and hold the main button for 3 seconds. The LED flashes red 3 times, and the headphones turn off.

Wearing the Headphones and Adjusting the Headband
For optimal sound, ANC, and comfort, adjust the headband so it sits centrally on your head. Ensure the earcups comfortably cover your ears and provide a uniform seal. The earcups have 'R' and 'L' markings inside.

Checking Battery Status
Battery status can be viewed on your smartphone or in the Smart Control app. You can also hear battery status via voice prompts by pressing and holding the music/call control button for 3 seconds. Voice prompts include "Recharge headset" (low battery) or "More than xx % battery left" (percentage).

Adjusting Volume
⚠️ Warning: High volume for extended periods can cause permanent hearing damage. Set a low volume before wearing headphones and switching audio sources. Avoid constant high volumes.
Use the volume control buttons on the headphones or your connected Bluetooth device to adjust volume for music and calls. You will hear "Volume max" or "Volume min" when the limits are reached. The headphones reset to a moderate volume when turned off.

Connecting Headphones via USB Cable
Connect the headphones to a Mac/PC or mobile device using the provided USB cable to play audio directly. The headphones also charge automatically when connected via USB. Ensure Bluetooth is disconnected before connecting via USB. Set "ACCENTUM" as the default audio output/input device in your system settings.
Storing or Transporting the Headphones

Replacing Ear Pads
Ear pads should be replaced regularly for hygiene. Replacement pads can be purchased online or from authorized distributors. Remove the old ear pad by gently pulling it off the earcup. Attach the new ear pad by pressing it onto the earcup until it clicks into place. Ensure the correct left (L) and right (R) ear pads are used.
