Lithium Battery Safety:

- Recharge periodically (approx. every 3 months) if not in use for extended periods.
- Avoid prolonged skin contact with charging components while connected to mains power, as they may heat up and cause irritation.
- Dispose of damaged products and batteries at designated collection points for recycling.
Data Collection and Firmware Updates:
- The product stores settings like volume and paired devices for operation; this data is not sent to Sonova Consumer Hearing.
- Firmware can be updated via the Sennheiser Smart Control app or internet. Data sent for updates includes hardware identifiers, firmware version, OS, and app version.
Use in Humid Environments:
- Protect headphones from moisture (rain, humidity, sweat).
- Do not use in rain, snow, or while bathing. Avoid pools, saunas, or activities involving high humidity (e.g., dishwashing).
- Do not store in airtight containers with wet items or items that cause condensation.
- Never charge wet headphones. Ensure the charging port is dry.
- If headphones become damp or wet: Dry with a cloth and air dry for at least 24 hours at room temperature before use or charging. Do not use if damaged.

Getting Started
- Charging the Battery: The battery is not fully charged upon delivery. Charge fully before first use. Connect the USB-C cable to the headphones and the USB-A end to a power source. The LED indicator will show charging status.
- Connecting to a Bluetooth Device: Pair the headphones with your smartphone or other Bluetooth device. When first activated with an empty pairing list, the headphones automatically enter pairing mode.
- Smart Control App: Download and install the Sennheiser Smart Control app for full control over settings, EQ, and more. Connect your smartphone to the headphones via Bluetooth and launch the app.
- Wearing and Adjusting: Adjust the headband for a comfortable and secure fit. Ensure the earcups fully cover your ears for optimal sound quality and noise isolation.
Using the Headphones
Battery and Charging:
- The headphones have a built-in battery that takes approximately 3 hours to fully charge.
- Charging time may vary based on the power source and ambient temperature.
- The LED indicator shows charging status: Red (0-20%), Yellow (20-90%), Green (90-100%). A solid green light for 5 minutes indicates a full charge.
- A "Recharge headset" voice prompt will alert you when the battery is low.
- You can listen to music or make calls while charging, though it may take longer.
- Use the supplied USB cable and a standard USB power supply.
- Dispose of the product and its battery separately at the end of their life.
Bluetooth Wireless Connection:
- The headphones are compatible with Bluetooth 5.2. They support high-quality audio codecs like aptX HD and AAC.
- Paired devices connect automatically upon activation. The headphones can store up to six paired device profiles.
- Audio playback is only possible from one device at a time.
- To pair: Ensure headphones are off. Press and hold the main button for 3 seconds to turn on, then press and hold for 5 seconds to enter pairing mode (LED flashes white/red). Activate Bluetooth on your device, search for "ACCENTUM", and connect. A successful pairing is confirmed by voice prompts and a white LED flashing 3 times.
- If no connection is made within 2 minutes, pairing mode ends.
Changing Connections: Use the Smart Control app to switch audio connections between paired devices.
Disconnecting: Disconnect from your Bluetooth device's settings. A "No connection" prompt will be heard.
Smart Control App:
- Download the free Sennheiser Smart Control app from your device's app store.
- Connect headphones via Bluetooth and launch the app to access all features, including EQ, ANC settings, and firmware updates.
Turning On/Off:
- On: Press and hold the main button for 3 seconds.
- Off: Press and hold the main button for 3 seconds.
Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and Transparency Mode:
- ANC: Reduces ambient noise for an immersive listening experience. Effective for constant, low-frequency sounds.
- Transparency Mode: Allows you to hear ambient sounds and conversations without removing the headphones. Useful for announcements or brief interactions.
- Switch between ANC and Transparency mode by pressing the main button twice.
- Advanced settings for ANC and Transparency Mode, including "Automatic pause" and wind noise reduction, can be configured in the Smart Control app.
Music Playback:
- Control playback (play/pause, next/previous track) using the music/sound control button.
- Functions are available via Bluetooth or USB connection.
Making Calls:
- Answer, end, or reject calls using the main button or music/sound control button.
- Mute the microphone by pressing the main button once during a call.
- Sidetone feature allows you to hear your own voice during calls, adjustable via the Smart Control app.
Voice Assistant:
- Activate your smartphone's voice assistant (Siri, Google Assistant) by pressing the main button once.
Sound Effects/Equalizer:
- Customize sound profiles using the equalizer in the Smart Control app.
Bluetooth/Airplane Mode:
- Turn off Bluetooth by pressing the main button 5 times. This activates Airplane Mode. Press again 5 times to re-enable Bluetooth.
Connecting via USB Cable:
- Connect via the included USB cable for audio playback and charging. Set the headphones as the default audio device on your computer or mobile.
Storing and Transporting:
- Store in a clean, dust-free place, away from sharp objects. Avoid carrying in bags with sharp items to prevent damage to earcups.
Maintaining and Caring:
- Clean with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid liquids and solvents.
- Keep the charging socket clean.
Replacing Earcups:
- Replacement earcup cushions are available for purchase. Follow instructions to remove old and attach new cushions.
Firmware Updates:
- Install firmware updates via the Sennheiser Smart Control app for optimal performance.
Troubleshooting
If you experience issues:
- Reset: Press and hold the main button for 20 seconds.
- Firmware Update: Connect to the Smart Control app and install the latest firmware.
- Factory Reset: Reset headphones to factory settings via the Smart Control app.
