Getting Started
Connecting Power
1. Connect the AC power cord to the AC power input (5) on the speaker.
2. Plug the other end into a wall outlet.
Turning On and Pairing
1. Shortly press the System button (4) to turn the speaker ON. The LED status light will pulsate white, indicating pairing mode. If pairing mode doesn't start automatically, press and hold the System button (4).
2. Turn on Bluetooth ? on your device (smartphone ?, tablet ?) and select "NATTBAD" from the list of available devices to pair.
3. Once paired, a confirmation sound will be audible, and the LED status light will blink twice.

- Pulsating white: Bluetooth ? is searching for a device (pairing mode).
- Steady white: Speaker is on and ready to be used. ✔️
- Blinking red: Factory reset is ongoing. ❗

Using the Speaker
Adjusting Volume
Turn the Sound knob (2) counterclockwise ⬅️ to decrease volume or clockwise ➡️ to increase it. Volume can also be controlled from your connected device.
Playback Controls
Use the Sound knob (2) for playback control:
- Short press: Play ▶️ / Pause ⏸️ track.
- Double press: Skip to the next track ➡️.
- Triple press: Play the previous track ⬅️.
Spotify Tap™
Spotify Tap™ allows you to resume and change music directly from the speaker with a press of the Spotify Tap™ button (3). [Spotify logo]
Getting Started with Spotify Tap™:
- Download the Spotify app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
- Ensure your device is paired via Bluetooth ? to the NATTBAD speaker.
- Make sure the Spotify app is open (required only for the first use).
- Press the Spotify Tap™ button (3) to start music.
From then on, a quick press of the Spotify Tap™ button (3) will resume music playback as long as your device is paired and within range.
Changing Music with Spotify Tap™:
While music is playing ?, press the button (3) again to switch to a recommended track.
Connecting Multiple Speakers (Multi-Speaker Mode)
The NATTBAD speaker supports multi-speaker mode, allowing it to connect with other compatible IKEA speakers to play the same music simultaneously.
- Connect your device to one of the speakers via Bluetooth ?.
- On another speaker you wish to connect, press and hold the Sound knob (2). The LED status light (1) will double blink white, and a confirmation sound will be emitted from the speakers.
- Repeat this process for each additional speaker you want to add to the multi-speaker mode.
Disconnecting Speakers from Multi-Speaker Mode
To disconnect a speaker from multi-speaker mode, press and hold the System button (4) for more than 1.5 seconds on that speaker. This will enter pairing mode for that speaker.
Unpairing Bluetooth Devices
To connect a different device, simply turn off Bluetooth ? on the currently paired device. The speaker should automatically enter pairing mode. If not, press and hold the System button (4) to manually enter pairing mode.
Factory Reset
If the speaker is not functioning correctly, perform a factory reset. Press and hold the System button (4) for 8 seconds until the red LED status light stops blinking. You will need to re-pair your device afterward.

Care Instructions
To clean, disconnect the speaker from the power outlet. Wipe with a slightly damp cloth. Never submerge in water. Dry with a soft cloth before reconnecting.
Note: Never use abrasive cleaners or chemical solvents.
