Product Overview
The NATTBAD is a Bluetooth speaker designed for indoor use, offering wireless audio playback and multi-speaker connectivity.

Getting Started
Initial Setup:
- Connect the power cord to the speaker's AC power input (5) and plug the other end into a wall outlet.
- Press the System button (4) briefly to turn the speaker ON. The LED status light will pulsate white, indicating pairing mode. If pairing mode does not start automatically, press and hold the System button (4).
- Turn on Bluetooth on your device (phone, tablet, etc.) and pair it with "NATTBAD". A confirmation sound will play, and the LED status light will blink twice upon successful pairing.

Using the NATTBAD Speaker
LED Status Light Indicators:
- Pulsating white: Bluetooth is searching for a device (pairing mode).
- Steady white: Speaker is ON and ready for use.
- Blinking red: Factory reset is in progress.
Adjusting the Volume
Turn the Sound knob (2) counterclockwise to decrease volume or clockwise to increase volume. Volume can also be controlled from the connected device.

Changing Tracks
- Short press the Sound knob (2) to pause/play ▶️/⏸️ the current track.
- Double press the Sound knob (2) to skip ⏭️ to the next track.
- Triple press the Sound knob (2) to play ⏮️ the previous track.
Spotify Tap™
Spotify Tap™ allows you to resume music playback or change tracks directly from the speaker with a button press.
To start music with Spotify Tap™:
- Download the Spotify app from your device's app store (App Store for iOS, Google Play Store for Android).
- Ensure your device is paired via Bluetooth with the NATTBAD speaker.
- Open the Spotify app (this is only necessary for the first use).
- Press the Spotify Tap™ button (3) to start music.
From then on, a quick press of the Spotify Tap™ button (3) will resume music playback as long as your device is paired and within range.
Changing Music (Spotify Tap™): While music is playing, press the Spotify Tap™ button (3) again to switch to a recommended track.

Connecting More Speakers (Multi-Speaker Mode)
The NATTBAD speaker supports multi-speaker mode, allowing it to connect with other compatible IKEA speakers to play the same music simultaneously.
- Connect your device to one speaker via Bluetooth ?.
- On another speaker you wish to connect, press and hold the Sound knob (2). The LED status light (1) will blink white twice, and a confirmation sound will be heard. Repeat this for each additional speaker.

Disconnecting Speakers from Multi-Speaker Mode
To disconnect a speaker, press and hold the System button (4) for more than 1.5 seconds. This will activate pairing mode on that speaker.
Unpairing Bluetooth Devices
To connect a different device, turn off Bluetooth on the currently paired device. The speaker should automatically enter pairing mode. If not, press and hold the System button (4) to manually enter pairing mode.
Factory Reset
If the speaker is not functioning correctly, perform a factory reset. Press and hold the System button (4) for 8 seconds until the LED status light stops blinking red. You will need to re-pair your device after a factory reset.
Safety and Important Information
WARNINGS:
- Overheating Risk: Do not install in confined spaces. Maintain at least 5 mm ventilation space around the product. Do not cover ventilation slots with curtains or other objects.
- Never place the product near open flames or heat sources, including direct sunlight.
- Use indoors only. Avoid exposure to dripping or splashing. Do not place liquid-filled objects (e.g., vases) on the apparatus.
- Do not place on other electrical equipment.
- If the power cord is damaged, replace it with a type-approved cord for your country.
- No open flame sources, like lit candles, should be placed on the device.
- The mains plug or appliance coupler serves as the disconnect device and must remain easily accessible.
IMPORTANT:
- Keep the speaker away from direct sunlight and heat sources to prevent overheating.
- Do not expose to wet, moist, or excessively dusty environments, as this may cause damage.
- Wireless range is measured in open air. Building materials and placement can affect range.
- Listening at high volumes can damage hearing.
- Do not touch acoustic components.
- Do not use the product as a shelf or stand.
- Check the bottom of the product for important markings.
Care Instructions:
Before cleaning, disconnect the speaker from the power outlet. Wipe the surface with a slightly damp cloth. Never submerge the speaker in water. Dry with a soft cloth before reconnecting to power.
Note: Never use abrasive cleaners or chemical solvents, as they can damage the product.
