What's in the Box

The package contains the JBL Pulse 4 speaker and a USB charging cable.

Bluetooth Pairing

To connect your device via Bluetooth:

Turn on the JBL Pulse 4 speaker.
On your device, go to Bluetooth settings and select "JBL Pulse 4".
Once connected, the speaker will indicate it's ready to play.

Play Music

Control your music playback using the buttons on the speaker:

Volume Up/Down: Press the '+' or '-' buttons.
Play/Pause/Next Track: Press the play/pause button (▶/||) once for play/pause, twice for next track.

Party Boost

Connect multiple JBL Pulse 4 speakers wirelessly to amplify your sound experience. Press the Party Boost button on each speaker to link them together.

Lightshow

Customize the speaker's lighting effects. Use the JBL Connect app to select preset lightshows, change colors, and create your own visual experiences.

JBL Connect App

Download the JBL Connect app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store to configure your speaker, update its software, and access advanced features like custom lightshows and Party Boost.

Shake to Sync

Shake your JBL Pulse 4 speaker to synchronize its lightshow and audio with other nearby JBL Pulse 4 speakers.

Charging

Connect the included USB cable to the speaker and a power source to charge. The battery indicator will show the charging status (e.g., 20%, 50%, 100%).

Waterproof IPX7

The JBL Pulse 4 is waterproof with an IPX7 rating. It can be submerged in water up to 1 meter for 30 minutes. Ensure the charging port cover is securely closed before exposing to water.

Important Safety Information & Battery Care

To prolong battery lifespan, fully charge at least once every 3 months. Battery life will vary due to usage patterns and environmental conditions.

Do not expose the JBL Pulse 4 to liquids without removing cable connection. Do not expose JBL Pulse 4 to water while charging. It may result in permanent damage to the speaker or power source.

When using an external adapter, the output voltage/current of the external adapter should not exceed 5V/3A.
