Wireless Charging: The charging base is equipped to wirelessly charge compatible smartphones. Place your smartphone on the base to initiate charging.
Using the ionMug
- Place the mug on the charging base.
- The indicator light will flash blue, then slowly pulse after approximately 10 seconds, indicating it is heating.
- The beverage temperature will stabilize at approximately 122°F (50°C).
- As a safety measure, the ionMUG will automatically turn off after 60 minutes of inactivity. To continue enjoying hot beverages throughout the day, remove and replace the ionMUG on the coaster every 60 minutes.
Wireless Charging for Smartphones
- Place a compatible smartphone onto the charging base.
- The indicator light on the base will turn a solid blue, confirming that the device is now charging.
- Note: If your phone has a thick case, it might interfere with the charging performance. If charging is affected, try removing the phone case.

Cleaning the ionMug
Hand wash the ionMug only. Do not immerse the mug completely in water. Do not clean the mug in a dishwasher. The charging base should be wiped clean with a damp cloth. Ensure the charging base is disconnected from power before cleaning and is fully dry before reconnecting.
Important Safeguards
CAUTION: THE IONMUG CONTAINS HOT BEVERAGES AND CAN GET HOT. ALWAYS HOLD THE IONMUG BY THE HANDLE ONLY.
- The volume of liquid in the mug affects its overall temperature and how quickly it heats up. More liquid may result in a lower mug temperature and slower heating, while less liquid may result in a higher mug temperature and quicker heating.
- Using the lid can slightly increase the liquid temperature.
- Environmental temperature may affect the mug's temperature and its contents.
- The wireless charging pad has a foreign object detection safety feature. It will shut down if it detects foreign objects like paper clips, coins, or scissors.
- To prevent overheating, the mug will automatically shut down after 60 minutes of inactivity on the pad.
- Do not expose the device to water, extreme temperatures, or high humidity.
- The bottom of the ionMug contains metal parts; do not use it in a microwave oven.
- Do not place the ionMug on the charging pad without any liquid, as it may overheat and cause damage.
- Avoid touching the inside and bottom of the mug while it is on or immediately after removal from the charging pad, as it may be hot and cause burns.
- Keep the device out of reach of children.
- Do not attempt to disassemble or use the ionMug for purposes other than its intended use.
