User Manual
Before using the appliance, read this manual carefully and keep it for future reference.
Safety Information
Usage Restrictions
- This product can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with physical, sensory, or intellectual deficiencies, or limited experience, under supervision to ensure safe operation. Cleaning and maintenance shall not be done by children without supervision.
- Children shall not play with this product. Ensure children and pets are kept at a safe distance from the robot while it is operating.
- This product is for floor cleaning in a home environment only. Do not use it outdoors, on non-floor surfaces, or in commercial/industrial settings.
- Do not use the robot in areas suspended above ground level without a protective barrier.
- Do not place the robot upside down. Do not use the LDS cover, robot cover, or bumper as a handle.
- Do not use the robot at ambient temperatures above 40°C or below 0°C, or on floors with liquids or sticky substances.
- Pick up any cables from the floor before use to prevent entanglement.
- Remove fragile or small items from the floor to prevent the robot from bumping into and damaging them.
- Keep hair, fingers, and other body parts away from the robot's suction opening.
- Keep the cleaning tool out of reach of children.
- Do not place children, pets, or any items on top of the robot, whether it is stationary or moving.
- Do not use the robot to clean burning objects.
- Do not vacuum hard or sharp objects.
- Ensure the robot is turned off and the self-wash base is unplugged before cleaning or maintenance.
- Do not use a wet cloth or liquid to rinse the robot and base. Washable parts must be dried completely before installation and use.
- Please use this product in accordance with the instructions. Users are responsible for any loss or damage arising from improper use.
Batteries and Charging
- Do not use third-party batteries or self-wash bases. Use only with the RCS3 supply unit.
- Do not attempt to disassemble, repair, or modify the battery or self-wash base.
- Do not place the self-wash base near a heat source.
- Do not use a wet cloth or wet hands to wipe or clean the base's charging contacts.
- Do not improperly dispose of old batteries. Unneeded batteries should be discarded at an appropriate recycling facility.
- Batteries can only be replaced by qualified technicians or after-sales service.
- If the power cord is damaged or broken, stop using it immediately and contact after-sales service.
- Ensure the robot is turned off when transported and kept in its original packaging if possible.
- If the robot will not be used for an extended period, fully charge it, turn it off, and store it in a cool, dry place. Recharge at least once every 3 months to avoid over-discharging the battery.
Laser Distance Sensor
The laser distance sensor complies with the IEC 60825-1:2014 standard for Class 1 laser products and does not generate dangerous laser radiation.

Control Panel
- Return-to-Base Button: Press briefly to send the robot back to the base. The robot resumes cleaning after the mop pad is cleaned. Press and hold for 3 seconds to stop cleaning and send the robot back to the base for mop cleaning and drying. If the robot is placed onto the base when holding this button for 3 seconds, the mop pad is cleaned and dried immediately.
- Clean Button: Press briefly to start or pause cleaning.
- Child Lock: Press and hold the [Up Arrow] ⬆️ and [Down Arrow] ⬇️ buttons for 3 seconds to activate or deactivate Child Lock.

Clearing Home Environment
Prepare your space for optimal cleaning:
- Remove power cords and small objects to prevent the robot from getting entangled and trapped.
- Before cleaning, place a physical barrier at the edge of stairs and sofas to ensure secure and smooth operations.
- Open doors of rooms to be cleaned and place furniture appropriately to maximize space.
- Avoid standing in front of the robot, thresholds, hallways, or narrow places to prevent the robot from misidentifying areas that need cleaning.
Preparations Before Use
1. Remove the protective strips
2. Install the side brush
Note: Install the side brush until it clicks into place.
3. Place the base against the wall and charge the robot
- Install the base in a location with good Wi-Fi signal.
- Insert the power cord into the base and plug it into the socket.
- Place the robot onto the base; it will turn on automatically and start charging.
- It is recommended to fully charge the robot before the first use. The status indicator will illuminate white for 10 minutes after a full charge, then turn off.
Placement Guidelines:
- Ensure the base is within the best Wi-Fi range.
- Keep at least 1.5 meters clear in front of the base and 0.5 meters clear on either side.
- Ensure no objects block the signaling area.
Connecting with Mi Home/Xiaomi Home App
The appliance works with the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home app for control and interaction with other smart devices.
1. Download the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home App
Scan the QR code on the robot to download and install the app.
2. Add Device
Open the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home app, tap ➕ in the upper-right corner, go to the Add Device page, tap ➕ in the upper-right corner, scan the QR code on the robot to add "Dreame Bot W10", and follow the prompts to connect.
3. Reset Wi-Fi
Simultaneously press and hold the [Wi-Fi] ? and [Power] ? buttons until you hear a voice prompt: "Waiting for the network configuration." The Wi-Fi indicator blinking slowly indicates the Wi-Fi has been reset.
Wi-Fi Indicator Status:
- Blinking slowly: To be connected
- Blinking quickly: Connecting
- On: Connected
Note: If the robot cannot connect to your phone, reset the Wi-Fi network and try again.
Important Notes:
- Only 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi is supported.
- App software is subject to upgrades; actual operations may differ from this manual. Refer to the current app version for guidance.
How to Use
Fast Mapping
Do not attach the mop pad. Place the robot on the base; it will turn on automatically. For the first use, build a map as instructed on the app. The robot will scan the environment without cleaning, and a map will be built and saved automatically upon returning to the base.
Turn On/Off
Press and hold the [Power] ? button for 3 seconds to turn on the robot (power indicator stays on). To turn off, press and hold the [Power] ? button for 3 seconds when the robot is not moving.
Start Cleaning
Press the [Return-to-Base] ? and [Clean] ? buttons on the base briefly to start cleaning.
Notes:
- Ensure the robot is fully charged before use. Do not manually move the robot while it is cleaning.
- If the battery is low during cleaning, the robot will return to the base to charge and resume cleaning (Resume Cleaning function must be enabled in the app).
Cleaning Mode
After turning on, the robot cleans edges and walls first, then in an S-shaped pattern. It automatically returns to the base to charge after cleaning.
Pause/Sleep
Press any button on the robot or the [Clean] ? button on the base briefly to pause. If paused for over 10 minutes, the robot enters sleep mode (indicators turn off). Press any button or tap the app to wake it up.
Notes:
- The robot will automatically turn off if left in sleep mode for over 12 hours.
- Pausing and placing the robot on the base will end the current cleaning process.
Spot Cleaning
When paused or on standby, press and hold the [Clean] ? button for 3 seconds to activate spot cleaning. The robot cleans a 1.5 x 1.5 meter area around its current position and returns to the starting point.
Additional App Functions
A map must be built before using these functions. Follow app instructions for more features. App interfaces may vary due to updates.
Mopping Function
1. Attach the mop pad
2. Add water to the fresh tank
Fill the fresh tank ? up to the MAX line. Note: Do not use detergent or disinfectant.
3. Place the fresh tank into the base
4. Start cleaning
Press the [Clean] ? button briefly. The robot starts from the base and mops according to the map's cleaning plan.
5. Return to self-clean
While mopping, the robot returns to the base for mop cleaning/drying as per app settings and resumes cleaning.
6. Clean the mop pad
After cleaning and charging, the base cleans and dries the mop pad. To clean the mop pad anytime, press and hold the [Clean] ? button for 3 seconds. If the fresh tank is low or the waste tank is full during mop cleaning, a prompt will be issued. Clean the waste tank ?️ promptly to prevent odor.

Notes:
- Ensure the robot is on the base before starting.
- Wait for mop cleaning if it occurs before the main cleaning cycle.
- Do not manually move the base, tanks, or washboard during mopping.
Routine Maintenance
Dust Bin and Filter
* Clean after each use
- Open the robot cover and press the dust bin clip to remove the dust bin ?️.
- Empty the bin as shown in the diagram.
- Remove the filter ?️ and tap its basket gently. Note: Do not clean the filter with brushes or fingers.
- Rinse the dust bin and filter with clean water only. Dry completely before re-installing. Note: Do not use detergent. Ensure parts are completely dry.
Fresh Tank
* Clean the filter media once every 3 months
- Open the fresh tank cover, move the hose to remove and clean the filter media.
- Reinstall the filter media and hose.
Waste Tank
* Clean after each use
- Remove the waste tank ?️, open its cover, and dump the wastewater.
- Clean the waste tank with water and place it back into the base.
Note: The floating ball in the waste tank is a moving part; handle it carefully to maintain its function.
Washboard
* Clean once every 2 weeks
- Press the clips on both sides of the base bottom to remove the washboard ?.
- Use the provided cleaning tool to clean the washboard completely.
- Wipe the bottom of the base with a dry cloth.
- Insert the washboard back into the base, ensuring both clips are in place. Note: Ensure washboard brackets are in place.
Cleaning the Main Brush
Press brush guard clips inwards, remove the guard, and lift the brush. Pull out brush covers and use the cleaning tool to remove tangled hair. Note: Avoid excessive pulling of tangled hair to prevent brush damage.
Cleaning the Side Brush
Remove and clean the side brush.
Cleaning the Universal Wheel/Auxiliary Wheel
Use a tool (e.g., small screwdriver) to separate the axle and tire of the universal wheel. Do not use excessive force. Rinse the universal wheel under running water and dry completely before reinstalling. Note: Ensure parts are dry.
Robot Sensors and Charging Contacts
Wipe sensors and charging contacts ? with a soft, dry cloth:
- Cliff sensors (bottom)
- Charging contacts (back)
- Return-to-base sensor (front)
- Bumper (front)
- LDS (top)
Note: Use only a dry cloth; wet cloths can damage sensitive elements.

Robot Restarting
If the robot is unresponsive or cannot be turned off, press and hold the [Power] ? button for 10 seconds to force shutdown. Then, press and hold the [Power] ? button for 3 seconds to turn it on.
Battery
The robot has a high-performance lithium-ion battery ?. Keep it charged for optimal performance. If not in use for an extended period, turn it off and store it. Recharge at least once every three months to prevent over-discharge damage.
Errors
If the base malfunctions, an error icon and message will appear on the display screen. Refer to the table below for solutions.

FAQ
Problem & Solution
- The robot will not turn on: Battery is low. Recharge on the base. Ambient temperature is too low (below 0°C) or too high (above 40°C). Operating range is 0°C to 40°C.
- The robot will not charge: Base is unplugged. Ensure power cord is plugged in at both ends. Poor contact. Wipe charging contacts on base and robot.
- The robot will not return to the base: Obstructions around the base. Place base in a more open area. Wipe the base's signaling area. Moving the robot may cause re-positioning or re-mapping. If too far, manual placement may be needed.
- The robot is malfunctioning: Turn off and restart the robot.
- The robot is making a strange noise: Main brush, side brush, or wheels may be entangled with hair or debris. Turn off the robot and remove obstructions.
- The suction power is weak while cleaning: Dust bin is full. Empty the dust bin. Filter is clogged. Clean the filter. Main brush is entangled with hair or debris. Remove tangled hair/debris.
- The robot is not able to connect to Wi-Fi: Wi-Fi connection exception. Reset Wi-Fi network. Positioning permission not enabled in the app. Weak Wi-Fi signal. Ensure robot is within range. 5 GHz Wi-Fi is not supported; connect to 2.4 GHz. Incorrect Wi-Fi username/password.
- The robot will not clean automatically at the scheduled time: Robot has low battery (needs >15%).
- The robot will not resume cleaning after charging: Check if "Do Not Disturb" mode is enabled. Robot does not resume cleaning when manually recharged or placed on base.
- The mop pad is not able to rotate: Mop pad may be entangled with hair or debris. Clean it.
- The washboard overflows: Wipe the overflow sensor with a dry cloth.
- The mop pad is wet after being cleaned: The base dries the mop pad only after the cleaning task is complete.
