The timer features the following components:

Meet the B-hyve App Home Screen

The B-hyve app provides a central interface for controlling your timer:

• Device Switcher: Tap to switch between different B-hyve devices.
• Connection Status: Shows timer connection status (e.g., "Timer Connected/Reconnect to Bluetooth Button") and battery life (e.g., "82%").
• Watering Status: Displays current watering activity, status messages, and remaining time (e.g., "Manual", "4m 29s left").
• Local Temperature: Shows the current outdoor temperature.
• Watering Controls: Buttons for "Stop Watering", "Next Zone".
• Settings & Zones: Access to device settings and zone list.

Initial Setup

B-hyve App Setup

1. Download the B-hyve App: Search for "B-hyve" on the Google Play Store or Apple App Store and download the free app.
2. Open the B-hyve App: Create a new account or log in with an existing one.
3. Add a Device: Follow the in-app wizard to set up your timer. Help icons are available for guidance.

B-hyve Timer Setup

1. Insert Batteries: The timer requires two AA alkaline batteries (not included). Remove the battery tray, install the batteries according to the tray's drawings, and reinsert the tray firmly. The timer will enter pairing mode, indicated by a blue light flashing every 5 seconds. You may hear two clicks as the valve closes.
2. Install the Timer: Connect the timer to a standard outdoor hose faucet. Ensure the water supply remains on. Avoid placing the timer in underground valve boxes or areas that obstruct the Bluetooth signal.
3. Turn on Your Water: The water supply must remain on for the timer to function correctly.

[Warning] If you need to re-pair the timer, press the on/off button quickly 5 times. Replace batteries when the timer flashes a red light every 5 seconds or when the app indicates low battery. Removing or changing batteries requires re-connecting via Bluetooth to set the correct time and date.

Manual Watering

Manually water without disrupting your programmed schedule. This is useful for testing equipment, running an extra watering cycle, or using the hose without removing the timer. Press and hold the on/off button for 3 seconds to activate manual watering. The duration can be set in the app via Settings > Devices > Device > Preset Runtime (default is 10 minutes).

Stop Watering

You can stop the flow of water at any time, whether during manual or programmed watering, by pressing the on/off button once.

LED Light Status

The LED Light on your timer indicates its status:

Warranty Information

Your Rights and This Limited Warranty

This Limited Warranty grants specific legal rights, which may vary by jurisdiction. Orbit Irrigation Products, Inc. warrants the product to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for two (2) years from the date of original retail purchase (the "Warranty Period").

What is Covered and Period of Coverage

Orbit will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace any defective Product or component, or accept a return and refund the purchase price. Repairs or replacements may use new or refurbished parts. If a product is unavailable, Orbit may substitute a similar product.

Products repaired or replaced under this warranty are covered for the longer of thirty (30) days from delivery or the remaining Warranty Period. The warranty is transferable to subsequent owners but is not extended.

Warranty Conditions; How to Get Service

To claim under this warranty, notify Orbit via www.orbitonline.com/contact during the Warranty Period, describe the alleged failure, and follow return shipping instructions. Orbit is not obligated if the product is deemed "Ineligible" after examination.

What This Limited Warranty Does Not Cover

This warranty excludes products marked "sample" or sold "AS IS", and products subject to: modifications, tampering, improper maintenance/repairs; incorrect handling, storage, installation, testing, or use; abuse or misuse; breakdowns in water supply, power, or telecommunications; or Acts of God (lightning, flood, etc.). Consumable parts like batteries are not covered unless defective. Orbit recommends authorized service providers.
