Getting Started
Welcome to your JBL PartyBox Encore Essential. This guide will help you set up and start using your speaker.
The product features a prominent JBL logo and is designed for portable audio experiences.
Initial Setup
Powering On: Locate the power button on the speaker. Press it to turn the device on. The speaker indicates battery levels with visual indicators, showing 20%, 50%, or 100% charge.
App Integration: To unlock more features and control your speaker, download and install the JBL PARTYBOX app. Look for it on the ? Google Play Store or the ? App Store.
Connecting Your Device
Bluetooth Pairing: Your JBL PartyBox Encore Essential supports Bluetooth connectivity for wireless audio streaming. Ensure your device's Bluetooth is enabled. The speaker has a Bluetooth range of up to 10 meters (33 feet). Once paired, your device, such as "JBL PB Encore Essential", will appear as connected.
TWS (True Wireless Stereo): Connect two JBL PartyBox speakers wirelessly for a wider soundstage using the TWS feature. [True Wireless Stereo]
Water Resistance: The speaker is rated IPX4, meaning it is protected against splashes of water. [IPX4 Water Resistance]
