JBL PartyBox 200 & 300 Quick Start Guide

1. What's in the box

Check the contents of your package:

• JBL PartyBox 200 or PartyBox 300 speaker
• Power cable
• Quick Start Guide
• Warranty card

2. Placement

Position the speaker for optimal sound:

a. Vertically: Place the speaker upright.

b. Horizontally: For best quality sound, ensure the two tweeters are placed on the upper side of the speaker box.

3. Power On

Connect the power cable to the speaker and a power outlet. Press the power button to turn the speaker on.

4. Charging (PartyBox 300 only)

• Fully charge the built-in battery before first use to prolong its lifespan.
• The built-in battery charges via AC power only.
• Press any button when the speaker is on to check the remaining battery level.

5. Charging USB devices

The speaker can charge USB devices. Connect your USB device to the USB port on the speaker.

Note: This feature is available on PartyBox 300 and PartyBox 200.

6. Connections

Connect your audio sources to the speaker:

a. Bluetooth

Connect wirelessly via Bluetooth. Ensure the speaker is within 10 meters (30 feet) of your device. Look for "JBL PartyBox 300" or "JBL PartyBox 200" in your device's Bluetooth list.

b. USB

Connect a USB storage device containing music files to the USB port.

c. AUX

Connect an external audio source using a 3.5mm AUX cable.

d. INPUT

Connect a microphone or guitar using the appropriate input jacks.

7. Mix sound with microphone / guitar

Connect a microphone or guitar to the INPUT jacks to mix their sound with the music playing through the speaker.

8. TWS (True Wireless Stereo) mode

Connect two PartyBox speakers wirelessly for stereo sound:

1. Press and hold the TWS button on both speakers simultaneously for 5 seconds to establish a TWS connection. The first speaker connected to your device becomes the primary (L channel), and the second becomes the secondary (R channel).
2. Press the L/R button on one speaker to toggle between L channel, R channel, or Stereo mode. The other speaker will automatically adjust its setting.
3. To exit TWS mode, press and hold the TWS button on either speaker for 5 seconds, or turn off the speaker.

Bluetooth Connection Mode: The product is designed for streaming music via Bluetooth. The connection must remain active for proper operation. The product enters sleep mode (networked standby) after 20 minutes of inactivity, with power consumption less than 2.0 Watts. It can be reactivated via Bluetooth connection.

Bluetooth Disconnection Mode: The product enters standby mode after 20 minutes of inactivity, with power consumption less than 0.5 Watts.
