Operating Instructions

Before Operation:

  • Always switch the model on first, then the transmitter.
  • When operating multiple models simultaneously, switch on one model and its corresponding transmitter at a time. Do not switch on multiple models or transmitters at the same time to avoid interference.

When Finished:

  • First switch off the model, then the transmitter.
  • Never operate the model beyond your line of sight. Range depends on factors like weather and interference. Perform a range test before each use with a second person to check signal failure behavior.

Binding Process:

Insert batteries into the transmitter (LED flashes). Switch on the model (headlights flash). Successful binding is indicated by the transmitter LED stopping flashing, a short beep, and the model's headlights staying on continuously. Bind one model at a time.

Transmitter Controls:

Diagram Description: The transmitter features a steering wheel, throttle stick, various switches and buttons, and a battery compartment.

  • 1. Beginner / Professional Mode: Adjust this lever to increase or decrease the vehicle's maximum speed.
  • 2. Steering Trim: Used to fine-tune the steering to ensure the model drives straight when no command is given.
  • 3. Lights On/Off: Slide the control to switch the lights on or off.
  • 4. Hazard Warning Lights: Turn the steering wheel right for 3 seconds to activate; turn left for 3 seconds to deactivate.
  • 5. Forward / Reverse | Left / Right:
    • a. Forward / Reverse: Push the throttle stick backward or forward to drive the model forward or backward.
    • b. Left / Right Turn: Use the steering wheel to control the direction. Turning the wheel left or right steers the model accordingly.
  • 6. Engine Off / Auto Shutdown: If the model receives no input for approximately 10 minutes, it will automatically shut down and must be restarted.
  • 7. Steering Reverse Switch: Electronically switches the direction of the steering servo travel.

Battery Handling

Charging the Battery:

  1. Remove the battery from the model.
  2. Connect the battery to the USB charging cable. Insert the USB plug into your computer's USB port. The LED will flash during charging and remain solid when charging is complete (approx. 3-4 hours).
  3. Connect the charged battery pack (observe polarity: red +, black -) and place it in the battery compartment. Close the cover.

Battery Warnings:

  • Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.
  • Do not open, dispose of in fire, mix old and new batteries, or mix battery types (alkaline, carbon-zinc, rechargeable).
  • Rechargeable batteries must be removed from the model before charging and charged only under adult supervision.
  • Do not short-circuit the supply terminals.

Cooling and Storage:

  • Allow the model to cool down sufficiently after each use before operating again. Allow at least 10 minutes for cooling, especially when changing batteries. Overheating can damage electronics or cause fire.
  • Always disconnect the battery from the charger and the charger from the power supply immediately after charging. Leaving them connected can cause damage or fire hazard.
  • If the model has an on/off switch, turn it off immediately after use. If it has a removable battery, disconnect it. Leaving the model or battery connected can lead to deep discharge, damage, or self-ignition.
  • Never attempt to charge or discharge deeply discharged batteries. Battery voltage should not drop below 6V. A fully charged battery is approx. 8.4V.
  • Intact batteries should be fully charged after a cooling phase (min. 10 min, max. 12 hrs) to prevent self-discharge.
  • Store batteries separately and check voltage (min. 8V) or damage at least every 3 months; recharge or dispose of as necessary.
