Battery Installation
Transmitter
Remove the battery compartment cover. Insert 2 x AA batteries, observing correct polarity. Replace and lock the cover.
Model
Open the battery compartment. Insert 3 x AA batteries, observing correct polarity. Close and lock the compartment cover.
Note: Round transport locks used for securing the vehicle in packaging can be used to open and close the battery compartment locks on the vehicle and transmitter.
Battery Information
Warning:
- Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.
- Do not open batteries. Do not dispose of in fire.
- Do not mix old and new batteries.
- Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable batteries.
- Rechargeable batteries must be removed from the toy before charging.
- Rechargeable batteries should only be charged under adult supervision.
- Supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.
Binding Procedure
After inserting batteries into the transmitter, the LED will flash, indicating it's ready to bind. Switch on the model. When the transmitter LED stops flashing, the vehicle is bound. The transmitter automatically turns off after approximately 60 seconds of inactivity; press any button to reactivate. The model has an On/Off switch and must be turned off after use to prevent battery discharge.
Operation and Cooling
Operation
Forward/Reverse: Press the forward or reverse button to move the model forward or backward.
Steering Left/Right: Press the left or right button to steer the model left or right.
Cooling Down
Allow the model to cool sufficiently after each use before operating again. After changing batteries, ensure a cooling phase of at least 10 minutes before resuming operation. Overheating can damage electronics or cause fire.
General Safety Measures
- Keep hands away from moving parts.
- Use only under direct supervision of an adult.
- Replace batteries when they are depleted.
- Pay attention to battery polarity.
- Be aware of frequencies in your environment.
- Do not operate in rain, snow, wetness, or sand.
- Do not drive on public roads or busy areas.
- Never operate the model out of the transmitter's range.
- Avoid direct sunlight or excessive heat.
- Clean dirt with a damp cloth.
- Never store batteries or rechargeable batteries inside the model.
Disposal Information
Batteries and accumulators must not be disposed of in domestic waste; they must be disposed of separately. You are obligated to return used batteries for proper disposal (separate collection). Batteries contain substances that can be irritant, cause allergies, or are highly reactive; therefore, separate collection and proper recycling are important for the environment and your health.
If batteries are marked with chemical symbols Hg (mercury), Cd (cadmium), or Pb (lead) below the crossed-out waste bin symbol, they contain more than 0.0005% mercury, 0.002% cadmium, or 0.004% lead, respectively.
Electrical appliances must not be disposed of in domestic waste and must be disposed of separately. Remove batteries if possible and take the electrical equipment to communal collection points. If personal data is stored on the appliance, you must remove it yourself.
