- Speed step 3 (Low sensitivity): Use if the purifier consistently indicates high pollution even after extended operation.
- Press and hold the airflow speed button and ionizer button for 2 seconds to save the setting and resume normal operation. The setting is also applied if no input is made for 10 seconds.
Cleaning Method
Always unplug the air purifier before cleaning.
Tips:
- Do not use detergents with organic solvents, bleach, chlorine, or abrasives.
- Do not immerse the air purifier in water or spray water directly on it.
Cleaning the air quality sensor (every 2 months):
- Open the air quality sensor cover on the right side.
- Clean the air inlet, outlet vent, and sensor with a soft brush or vacuum cleaner.
- Lightly dampen a cotton swab to clean the lens, dust inlet, and dust outlet. Use a dry cotton swab to remove any remaining moisture. Regular cleaning maintains sensor performance. Clean more often in dusty environments.
Cleaning the air inlet and outlet (every 2 months):
- Clean with a soft brush. Avoid letting dust fall inside the purifier.
- If dusty, run the purifier in manual mode for 10 minutes to blow out dust, then continue with normal use.
Cleaning the front cover:
- Separate the front cover and remove dust with a soft dry brush or cloth. Use a lightly damp cloth for serious contamination, avoiding abrasives.
Cleaning the product body (every 2-4 weeks):
- Use a dry, soft cloth. Use a lightly damp cloth for serious contamination, avoiding abrasives.
Cleaning the Pre-filter (every 2-4 weeks)
The pre-filter is reusable by cleaning with water.
Tips:
- If the pre-filter is not cleaned regularly, performance may decrease.
- Odor and HEPA filters cannot be cleaned and reused. Do not clean them with water.
- Open the front cover by pulling the top part.
- Press the top clip of the pre-filter and pull it out carefully to prevent dust from falling.
- Clean the pre-filter with a vacuum cleaner or water, depending on contamination level.
- Install the pre-filter after ensuring it is completely dry. Reattach the front cover, ensuring the pre-filter fits correctly in the hook.
Filter Replacement
Tips:
- Check that filters are installed in the correct direction ('front' side).
- Use original Coway filters for optimal performance.
- Always unplug the air purifier before replacing filters.
Filter cleaning and replacement cycles:
Filter | Cycles | Method |
---|---|---|
Pre-filter | Every 2-4 weeks | Cleaning |
Odor filter | Every 6 months | Replacement |
HEPA filter | Every 1 year | Replacement |
Service life is based on 8-hour use at maximum air speed. Replacement cycles may vary based on operating environment.
Resetting the filter replacement indicator:
The indicator blinks when a filter needs replacement. Replace the relevant filter (Odor LED for Odor Filter, HEPA LED for HEPA filter). The pollution level indicator will not function if the filter replacement indicator is active. After replacement, press and hold the Reset button for 2 seconds.
Forcible reset mode:
To forcibly reset the filter replacement cycle before it's due:
- When the reset function is not activated, press and hold the reset button for 2 seconds.
- Press the reset button to select the filter: once for Odor Filter (Odor LED), twice for HEPA filter (HEPA LED).
