DC Power Ceiling Fan Remote Control Manual
Installation Instructions
Note
This unit is designed for DC power ceiling fans and operates with an AC120V 60Hz power supply only. It supports a maximum output of 50W for the motor and 30W for the LED light.
Important Safety Information
Using a full-range dimmer switch (not included) to control fan speed will damage the fan. To reduce the risk of fire or electrical shock, do not use a full-range dimmer switch for fan speed control.
Wiring Diagram Description (Fig. 1)
The diagram illustrates the connection of AC Power (ACL, ACN, Black, White) to the receiver. It also shows connections for the fan motor (MOTOR 1: Red wire, MOTOR 2: Gray wire, MOTOR 3: Purple wire) and the light (White wire), along with an antenna.
Installation Steps
- Switch off power at the fuse box or circuit breaker before installing the fan.
- Make wiring connections as indicated in Fig. 1.
- The remote control has an effective launch distance of approximately 10 meters.
- Remote Code Setting Process:
- Open the remote battery cover and install two DC1.5V/AAA alkaline batteries, ensuring the fan power is off (Fig. 2).
- Within 30 seconds of restoring power to the fan, use a ballpoint pen or tool to press the "Learn" button for approximately 2 seconds. The receiver will emit a single "Bi" sound once it detects the frequency, indicating it has learned the frequency selected on the transmitter.
Note on Code Setting
After AC power is turned on, do not press any other button on the transmitter before completing the learning process. Doing so may cause the procedure to fail.
Operation Check
After completing the steps, you should be able to operate the ceiling fan and light. If the fan does not respond to the transmitter, turn off the power to the receiver and repeat step 2.
Light Function Select Switch
If an energy-saving light is installed on the ceiling fan, slide the dip switch (light function select switch) to the "O" position. If a dimmable LED light is installed, slide the "light function select switch" to the "D" position (Fig. 2).
Functions of Remote Control (Fig. 3)
The remote control offers the following functions:
- Fan Off: Turn off the ceiling fan.
- Fan Speed: Press and release immediately to turn on and set fan speed. Speed setting 6 is for the highest fan speed.
- Light Button:
- ON/OFF: Press and release immediately to turn the light on or off.
- DIMMER: Press and hold to dim or brighten the light to the desired level and then release. (This function is for LED lights only and requires the light function select switch to be in the dimmer position.)
- Sleep Timer:
2H: The fan will turn off automatically after 2 hours.
4H: The fan will turn off automatically after 4 hours.
8H: The fan will turn off automatically after 8 hours.
- Natural Breeze: Fan speed will modulate to simulate a natural breeze.
- Reverse Button: Press and release immediately to set fan direction. The fan runs counterclockwise for a downward cooling breeze. The fan runs clockwise to force warm air downward without a noticeable breeze.
When a transmitter button is pressed, the receiver will emit a single "Bi" sound as confirmation. If the red LED indicator on the transmitter is not working when a button is pressed, the batteries need to be replaced.
Installing Wall Mounted Holder
Attach the wall-mounted holder using the two provided screws (Fig. 4).
