DC Power Ceiling Fan Remote Control Manual
Model: CT0311YB+DC8-116MR (with light function)
Installation Instructions
NOTE: This unit is designed for DC power ceiling fans and operates with an AC120V 60Hz power supply only. Output Power: 50W (Max.) for motor and 60W (Max.) for LED light.
Important: Using a full-range dimmer switch (not included) to control fan speed will damage the fan. To reduce the risk of fire or electrical shock, do not use a full-range dimmer switch to control fan speed.
Wiring Connections (FIG. 1)
The wiring diagram illustrates the connections required for installation. It shows connections for AC Power (ACL, ACN), FOR LIGHT (White and Blue wires), MOTOR (Gray, Red, Purple wires), and ANT (antenna).
Steps:
- Switch power off at the fuse box or circuit breaker before beginning installation.
- Make the wiring connections as indicated in the diagram.
- The launch distance for remote control is approximately 10 meters (about 33 feet).
- Follow the remote learning function setting process:
- Insert 2 AA batteries into the remote control while the fan power is off (FIG. 2).
- Within 60 seconds of restoring power to the fan, press and hold the "FAN on/off" button for approximately 5 seconds. Once the receiver detects the frequency, it will emit three "BeepBeep Beep" sounds, indicating successful pairing. This confirms the receiver has learned the frequency previously selected on the remote control.
- After AC power is on, do not press any other button on the remote control before completing the learning process. Doing so may cause the procedure to fail.
- After completing the steps above, you should be able to operate the ceiling fan and lamp. If the fan does not respond to the remote control, turn off the power to the receiver and repeat Step 2.
NOTE:
- One transmitter to one receiver matching is pre-configured at the factory. You should be able to control your fan immediately upon connecting the fan with the paired receiver.
- The transmitter can store up to two sets of learning codes. If you wish to control only one fan, you can follow the steps above to re-learn the receiver with your transmitter.
- If you learn the code for the third time on the same frequency receiver with the transmitter, the first recorded learning code will be removed, and the receiver that was learned first will become uncontrollable.
