SPA CONTROL PANEL
(Table showing function, On, Off, and LED Display behavior)
- IMPORTANT: The spa control panel should be within 5m (16ft) of the control base to ensure a good wireless signal. The spa control panel is water-resistant but cannot be fully submerged. Do not immerse the control panel in water. Water may enter the panel, causing damage to electronic components.
Minimizing Heat Loss and Energy Saving Tips
- 1. To minimize heat loss in the spa between uses, always keep the spa covered with the cover (remove the cover during use). For maximum insulation, the cover must be fitted tightly according to the manufacturer's instructions. It is recommended that when the spa is not in use, the cover be stored off the ground so it does not get dirty (especially its side facing the water). Store the cover in a suitable place where it will not be damaged or cause damage.
- 2. Check the water temperature setting and consider lowering it when the spa is not in use.
- 3. If the spa will not be used, consider completely turning off the heater for an extended period, depending on external conditions (the spa allows this, but still maintains a low level of resistance to infections/pH values).
- 4. Remember that the comfortable temperature range during use may be lower than the maximum safe temperature.
- 5. To limit heat loss from the spa floor, use the insulating mat included in the set.
- 6. Keep the filters clean so that the pump has adequate operating conditions and water does not need to be unnecessarily replaced.

Maintenance and Chemical Use
WARNING: Always disconnect the product from power before moving, cleaning, servicing, or making any changes.
Water Hygiene:
- The spa owner must regularly (preferably daily) check and maintain water cleanliness in the Spa. Specialized chemicals will eliminate bacteria and viruses present in the water. Maintaining proper water balance through the correct use of disinfectants is the most important factor for the longevity and appearance of the spa. Proper testing and water care techniques are important. For methods and ways to maintain water cleanliness, contact a professional.
- IMPORTANT: ALWAYS FOLLOW THE SPA CHEMICAL MANUFACTURER'S RECOMMENDATIONS AND HEALTH WARNINGS.
- Do not add chemicals while the spa is in use. This may cause skin and eye irritation. Concentrated chlorine solution can damage the spa. Intex, its affiliates, authorized representatives, service centers, and retailers are not responsible for any costs associated with the use of inappropriate chemical preparations.
Water and Filter Cartridge Maintenance:
- Protect all spa users from illness by maintaining clean and hygienic water. Always maintain hygiene. To ensure proper spa water hygiene, follow these procedures:
- 1. Check and clean the filter cartridge daily and replace the cartridge every 3 days.
- a. Unscrew the filter housing from the spa wall and remove the filter cartridge (see Fig. 13).
- b. Use a garden hose to rinse the cartridge. If the cartridge remains dirty, replace it. Always have replacement cartridges on hand.
- c. Install the clean cartridge back into the housing and attach it to the spa wall.
- 2. Change the spa water every two weeks. See "Spa Drainage" and "Spa Cleaning" in the manual.
- 3. Use chemicals to maintain water cleanliness. The spa warranty does not cover damage caused by improper use of chemicals or maintenance.
- 4. Remember to wash your body thoroughly before entering the spa.
Water Chemical Balance:
- Maintain spa water pH between 6.8 and 7.6, total alkalinity between 60 and 120 ppm, and free chlorine level between 2 to 4 ppm. Use the supplied test strips to test the water before each use of the spa and at least once a week.
- Test strips test for "free chlorine", "total alkalinity", and "calcium hardness" simultaneously:
- 1. Dip the entire strip into the water and remove immediately.
- 2. Hold the strip for 15 seconds (do not shake off excess water from the strip).
- 3. Compare the chlorine, pH, and alkalinity levels on the strip to the color chart on the packaging. Adjust the spa water chemistry if necessary.
- IMPORTANT: Check the expiration date on the test strips, as the result may be inaccurate if the expiration date has passed. Low pH levels will damage the spa and pump. Damage caused by poor chemical balance is not covered by warranty.
- Use the supplied floating chlorine dispenser (tablet size: less than 2.5 cm) in the spa water. Place 1 tablet in the dispenser. Always follow the chemical manufacturer's recommendations.
- Never allow direct contact of chlorine with the spa unless it is completely dissolved. Rinse all pipes with treated water by activating the bubble function for one hour daily.
- IMPORTANT: Press the button on the control panel to activate the bubbles and help mix the chemicals with the water.
- Never mix chemicals. Add chemicals to the spa separately. Mix the chemicals thoroughly with the water before adding the next.

- Check the spa air valve for leaks and tightness before use. If air is escaping from the air valve, use the supplied wrench (22) to tighten the air valve as follows:
- 1. Ensure the spa is deflated, open the air valve cap and insert the wrench (22) into the air valve body (see Fig. 18).
- 2. Hold the back of the valve from inside the spa wall and turn the wrench (22) clockwise.
- IMPORTANT: Never adjust the air valve base while the spa is in use or filled with water. Use the air valve wrench only if the air valve is loose or there is a leak around the valve base. Do not overtighten the valve, as it may be damaged. Ensure the valve is tight and does not leak.
Spa Cover:
- Regularly check the spa cover for leaks, premature wear, damage, or signs of aging. Never use a worn or damaged spa cover. Damage does not provide adequate safety to prevent access to the spa by unsupervised children. Periodically clean the cover inside and out with a sponge and a suitable disinfectant solution (10 mg per liter of clean chlorine). Do not use steel wool, stiff brushes, or harsh cleaning agents.
Storage
Spa Surroundings:
- Regularly clean the areas around the spa intended for bare feet and relaxation areas. Water used for cleaning must not enter the spa or the spa's water circulation system. Rinse cleaning agents thoroughly to the drains in the spa surroundings.
Repairing the Spa Shell and Cover:
- Use the supplied repair patch to repair damage. The leak area must be clean and dry. Peel off the protective paper from the patch and firmly apply the patch to the damaged surface. Smooth out the surface to remove air bubbles.
In regions with sub-zero temperatures, when the temperature drops below 4°C (39°F), drain the spa, clean it, disassemble it, and properly store all set components.
- 1. Dry and clean the spa according to the instructions in the user manual.
- 2. To release air and disassemble the spa, control unit, and inflatable spa cover, follow the steps in reverse order.
- 3. Inflating the spa shell and cover:
- a) Remove the drain outlet cap (27) using the wrench (6) (see Fig. 19).
- b) Insert the hose adapter (28) into the drain outlet.
- c) Insert the hose (7) onto the hose adapter (28).
- d) Insert the other end of the hose into the air valve of the shell or cover valve.
- e) Press the bubble button to release air.
- f) When deflation is complete, reverse the above steps and ensure the outlet cap (27) is screwed on.
- Note: The device should only be used for the purposes described in this manual. To avoid damaging the blower motor, keep the inflation hose away from water and small objects when the air release function is activated.
- 4. Ensure all spa components and accessories are clean and dry before storage. Dry the spa in the sun for one hour before folding.
- 5. Loosely fold the spa, avoiding sharp creases, to prevent damage or leaks in the spa liner.
- 6. Prepare replacement cartridges for future use.
- 7. Store the spa and accessories in a dry place with a controlled temperature between 0° – 40°C (32° – 104°F).
- 8. Use the original packaging for storage.
