Step 1 - Preparing to Mount the Camera
Install the Desiccant Pack (moisture absorber)
- Remove the Desiccant Pack from its shipping packaging.
- Fold the moisture absorber pack diagonally along the dotted line.
- Open the camera's control panel on the side using the included star wrench.
- Remove the shipping Desiccant Pack and place the new one in the indicated location.
- Close the camera control panel tightly, ensuring no cables are caught.
? Note: The camera generates heat to dry moisture during normal operation. Keep the absorber in the camera for moisture issues.
⚠️ Warning: Install the moisture absorber when mounting to prevent performance issues and damage.
Mark and drill holes
Mark and drill necessary holes in the wall or ceiling using the mounting template sheet or the camera itself.
Resetting the camera: Press the reset button for five (5) seconds to initiate a camera-wide reset of all settings, including network settings.
Step 2 - Powering the Camera
Pass the wires through and make all necessary connections.
Waterproof Cap Installation
The waterproof cap set includes two rubber rings. Use the ring that best fits your network cable's diameter.
- ? Note: Cables with Ø4.5mm to Ø5.5mm thickness should use the black rubber ring. Cables over Ø5.5mm should use the white rubber ring.
- ? Note: To ensure a moisture seal, ensure the O-ring (d) is in place between components (c) and (e). An outdoor-rated sealer is recommended for extreme environments.

QR Code Information
Minimum QR Code Size
QR codes should be no smaller than 1/18 of the screen's vertical resolution. For a 2592(H) x 1944(V) display, this is approximately 108 pixels. This size is comparable to a QR code on a product box.
[Minimum QR Code Size Diagram Description: Illustrates a visual comparison of a QR code size relative to a screen resolution.]
Recognizable Distance
The distance at which a QR code can be recognized depends on the lens's angle of view:
- Full wide (110°): up to 9ft (2.8m)
- 90° Horizontal Angle of View: up to 10.5ft (3.2m)
- 45° Horizontal Angle of View: up to 25.5ft (7.8m)
- Full tele (30°): up to 32.8ft (10.0m)
? Note: Reducing the print size proportionally decreases the recognizable distance.
If the QR code is reduced by half (3.34"/8.5cm), the recognizable distances are:
- Full wide (110°): up to 4.5ft (1.4m)
- 90° Horizontal Angle of View: up to 5.2ft (1.6m)
- 45° Horizontal Angle of View: up to 12.8ft (3.9m)
- Full tele (30°): up to 6.4ft (5.0m)
