Ian Jones, Territory Marketing Manager, International Markets Group at Ford, stated, "The Territory has always been about empowering young, active families to get the most out of their vehicle every day. With the new model, the comfort and smart technology features shine through, offering everything our customers are asking for and more."
Since its launch, the Ford Territory has been a trusted companion, achieving significant sales in key growth markets such as the Middle East, Vietnam, the Philippines, Brazil, and Argentina. Building on this strong foundation, the 2026 Ford Territory offers user-friendly technology and efficient powertrain options, making everyday journeys and adventures easier and more enjoyable. True to the Ford brand's pride in craftsmanship, the new Territory sets a new benchmark for modern, user-friendly SUV ownership.
Bold Design Meets Practical Innovation
The 2026 Territory boasts a new, dynamic front end featuring a redesigned bumper and grille, full LED headlamps and taillamps, and a futuristic LED daytime running light that extends across the hood. The vehicle is available in two new color options: Cactus Gray and Oasis Green, adding a sophisticated and luxurious touch to the lineup.
Jones added, "We wanted to give the Territory a more expressive front fascia, and the new LED lighting gives the vehicle a distinctive character and a strong presence on the road."
Enhanced Interior Comfort and Connectivity
Interior comfort is a top priority in the design of the Territory, with updated seats featuring wider headrests and additional padding for long journeys. Fast-charging USB and Type-C ports have been added to the front and rear, providing faster charging for smartphones and devices compared to standard USB ports.
The Territory retains its popular spaciousness, offering a generous 448 liters of cargo space that can be expanded to 1,422 liters by folding the rear seats. It also provides class-leading shoulder room for front passengers and ample legroom for those in the rear.
Jones further commented, "Customer comfort is paramount for Ford, which is why we've scrutinized everything from the seats to the air quality and various enhancements. We've refined every detail to help our customers feel more relaxed and confident, wherever their journey takes them."
Under the Hood
The Territory continues to be powered by its 1.8-liter four-cylinder EcoBoost engine, delivering 140 kW of power and 320 Nm of torque. Jones noted, "Ford is proud of its EcoBoost technology, and the 1.8-liter engine in the Territory helps us deliver on our promise of providing an economical driving experience without sacrificing performance."
Next-Generation Connectivity and Entertainment
The 2026 Territory elevates in-car connectivity with an advanced suite of features designed to make every moment behind the wheel more enjoyable. Audiophiles will appreciate the Arkamys 3D sound system, offering an immersive audio experience for all occupants. This feature can be toggled on or off and helps reduce road noise when activated, ensuring crystal-clear sound quality regardless of seating position.
Ford has also updated the infotainment system with a redesigned, dual-screen setup featuring 12.3-inch displays, making it more user-friendly than ever. Drivers can now seamlessly switch between full-screen Apple CarPlay or Android Auto integration and a split-screen view that includes climate controls displayed in a sleek bar at the bottom of the screen.
Jones concluded, "The team has worked hard to ensure the infotainment screen is more intuitive for customers. We are very proud of the design and functional improvements, especially the streamlined climate control interface."
FordPass System
For the first time, the 2026 Territory is available with the FordPass system, allowing owners to interact with their vehicles in an unprecedented way. This system enables customers to remotely lock and unlock their vehicles, schedule remote start for heating or cooling the cabin, check fuel levels, and receive vehicle status alerts, all from the convenience of their smartphones.
Advanced Safety Features
Safety remains a top priority for Ford, and the Territory is equipped with a comprehensive suite of advanced driver-assist systems. Key features include:
