The Expedition MAX extends the Expedition's capability with an additional foot of length, offering more headroom in the 3rd row and larger rear door openings for easier access. It accommodates an extra 16.9 cu. ft. of gear. Switching between passenger and cargo configurations is simple with power, fold-flat 2nd- and 3rd-row seats. Access cargo easily via the liftgate glass, liftgate itself, or the hands-free, foot-activated liftgate. With rear rows folded flat, the Expedition MAX can carry 4' x 8' sheets of plywood. Cargo capacities include passenger volume (171.9/172.0 cu. ft.) and various cargo volume measurements behind the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd rows.

Available options include the Convenience Package, Driver Assistance Package, and Heavy-Duty Trailer Tow Package. Special Edition & Texas Edition

The Special Edition builds upon the Limited trim with 22-inch premium Black-painted aluminum wheels, a continuously controlled damping (CCD) suspension, a 360-Degree Camera with Split-View Display, Cargo Package, Heavy-Duty Trailer Tow Package, Enhanced Active Park Assist, and LED headlamps and fog lamps.
