REACTIVE LIGHTING® Technology
This technology uses a sensor to analyze ambient light and automatically adjusts brightness to user requirements.
Lamp Operation
The lamp has three modes: REACTIVE LIGHTING®, STANDARD LIGHTING, and RED LIGHTING.
Switching On/Off
Press the button to turn the lamp on or off.
Lighting Modes
SWIFT RL E095BB: The lamp has three brightness levels per mode: MAX BURN TIME, STANDARD, and MAX POWER. When turned on, it defaults to REACTIVE LIGHTING® mode.
SWIFT RL E0810AB: The lamp has four brightness levels for REACTIVE LIGHTING® and STANDARD LIGHTING modes: close-range work, proximity lighting, movement, and long-range vision. The lamp turns on in the same mode as when it was last switched off, at the lowest brightness level.
SWIFT RL E095BB and E0810AB: When switching between REACTIVE LIGHTING® and STANDARD LIGHTING modes, the brightness level remains the same.
REACTIVE LIGHTING® Specifics
With REACTIVE LIGHTING®, when the sensor detects sufficient ambient light, the lamp will blink dimly for two minutes then automatically turn off to conserve battery life.
The lamp's burn time in REACTIVE LIGHTING® mode varies with usage.
In REACTIVE LIGHTING® mode, the lamp turns off after two minutes of inactivity in a consistently lit area. In such cases, use STANDARD LIGHTING mode instead.
Locking the Lamp
Lock the lamp when not in use to prevent accidental activation.
Energy Gauge
The energy gauge lights up when the lamp is turned on or off.
Reserve Lighting
The lamp blinks 5 minutes before and during the transition to reserve lighting. Reserve lighting provides enough light to walk by, but not for dynamic activities.
Turning Off
Press and hold the button for more than six seconds to turn off the lamp.
Rechargeable Battery
The lamp uses a Petzl Li-ion rechargeable battery (2350 mAh). Charge fully before first use. Use only Petzl ACCU SWIFT RL batteries.
WARNING: Charge only with a USB cable. Charger output voltage must not exceed 5V. Use only Class II, CE/UL approved chargers. Do not leave the battery unattended while charging.
Charging Time: Approximately 5 hours via USB or computer.
Battery Indicator: Red while charging, green when fully charged.
Replacing the Battery
Use only Petzl ACCU SWIFT RL batteries (E092DB00, E092DA00, or E810BA00). Using other battery types may damage the lamp.
