Installing the Suction Cups
To attach your tablet:
- Peel off the protective film from the back of each suction cup.
- Press the suction cups firmly onto the designated suction-cup area on the keyboard case.
⚠️ Caution: Avoid scratching the suction-cup area with sharp or hard objects, as this can reduce adhesion.

Wireless Connection (Bluetooth Pairing)
Follow these steps to connect your tablet to the keyboard:
- Attach your tablet to the keyboard case.
- Turn on the keyboard by sliding the power switch on the right side to the ON position. The power indicator (red light) will briefly illuminate. The pairing indicator (blue light) will start flashing ?.
- On your tablet, open the "Settings" app.
- Tap "Bluetooth" to enable it (ensure it is set to "ON" or shows green).
- Under "Other Devices", find and tap "MAGIC JOHN". Tap "Pair" in the pop-up window. The blue light will remain steady ? once successfully paired.
Troubleshooting Connection Issues
If your tablet cannot find "MAGIC JOHN" via Bluetooth:
- Ensure the keyboard has sufficient power.
- Reset the keyboard's Bluetooth settings by long-pressing the combination keys (Fn + Ctrl + T) for 3 seconds.
- Repeat the pairing steps above.
Note: After the initial pairing, the keyboard will appear under "My Devices" in your tablet's Bluetooth settings.
Switching Between Operating Systems (iOS / Android / Windows)
To switch the keyboard's operating system compatibility, use the following key combinations:
- Switch to iOS: Long-press Fn + IOS for 2 seconds. The white indicator light will blink twice to confirm the switch.
- Switch to Android: Long-press Fn + AND for 2 seconds. The white indicator light will blink twice to confirm the switch.
- Switch to Windows: Long-press Fn + WIN for 2 seconds. The white indicator light will blink twice to confirm the switch.
Keyboard Indicator Lights

Backlight Functionality
The keyboard features adjustable backlighting:
- Brightness: Adjust between low, medium, high, or off.
- Effects: Choose from 7 different key light effects.
ℹ️ Note: The backlight will automatically turn off after 6 seconds of inactivity to conserve power. It will reactivate when any key is pressed.
Key Operations and Shortcuts
Multifunctional keys are typically used in combination with modifier keys such as Shift, Ctrl, and Fn.
Example: Take the '5' key as an example: Normal press: = 5, Combination key Shift + 5 = %.

Friendly Reminder: Some tablet operating systems may restrict certain key combinations for security reasons. If a shortcut does not work, try using the system's native shortcuts or remapping keys via a third-party input method.
Keyboard Charging
To charge the keyboard:
- Connect the supplied Type-C cable to the Type-C port on the right side of the keyboard.
- A full charge takes approximately 2 hours. The charging indicator LED will turn from red to green when charging is complete.
Precautions and Safety Information
Please observe the following precautions for safe and optimal use:
- Operating Temperature: Use within 0°C to 35°C. Store between -20°C and +45°C.
- Heat Exposure: Do not expose the product to high temperatures or heat sources (sunlight, heaters, microwaves, ovens, water heaters, etc.). Overheating may cause explosion.
- Fire Hazard: Never throw the keyboard into a fire. The battery can ignite and explode.
- Disassembly & Liquids: Do not disassemble, modify, insert foreign objects, or immerse the keyboard in water or other liquids. These actions may cause leakage, overheating, fire, or explosion.
- Physical Impact: Do not severely impact, crush, or puncture the keyboard. Avoid excessive external pressure to prevent internal short circuits and overheating.
- Chemicals: Keep away from benzene, thinners, and other chemicals to prevent corrosion and extend product life.
- Battery Longevity: Turn off the keyboard when not in use for extended periods. For optimal battery life, charge only when the power indicator flashes, and charge for at least 2 hours each time.
- Power Disconnection: After charging, disconnect the power adapter from the device and unplug it from the wall outlet.
- Medical Devices: Radio waves or magnets in this device may affect implanted medical devices such as pacemakers, cochlear implants, or hearing aids. Consult the device manufacturer for usage restrictions. Keep at least 15 cm away from implanted medical devices like pacemakers or cochlear implants while using this product.
