Before First Use

Avoid shocks, strong mechanical influences, magnetic fields, and dropping the device. Keep the device dry and prevent liquids from entering the housing.

Button Functions

• OFF: Switches the device off.
• mm/inch: Switches between metric and imperial measuring systems.
• ON/ZERO: Switches the device on and sets the zero point.
• ADD+: Adds a preselected value.
• SUB-: Subtracts a preselected value.

Operation

1. Clean the protective sticker, underside of the device, and measuring tip. Mount or check the clamping piece.
2. Clean the work surface and workpiece, ensuring no contamination on measuring surfaces.
3. Loosen the clamp screw and clamping lever. Switch on the device using the ON/ZERO button or by moving the slide.
4. Set the zero point at the desired location using the ON/ZERO button.
5. For certain setups, use blocks to position the device or workpiece. The height of these blocks can be added or subtracted from the measured value using the ADD and SUB buttons.
6. Bring the measuring tip into contact with the workpiece and read the value from the display. Avoid excessive force.
7. Fix the slide with the clamping lever or clamp screw for easier reading.

Maintenance and Storage

Do not use aggressive chemicals, solvents, or abrasives for cleaning. Do not immerse the device in liquids. Store the device in its original box in a location protected from direct sunlight, dust, moisture, extreme temperatures, and vibrations, out of reach of children.
