Headset Operation

Power ON/OFF

To power on: [click] the Power button once.

To power off: [hold] the Power button for 3 seconds.

MIC ON/OFF

To turn the microphone ON: [click] the Mic button once.

To turn the microphone OFF: [click] the Mic button once.

Headset LED Guide

How to Connect:

  • Successful Connection: LED is Constantly On.
  • Connection Failure: LED Flashes Every 3 Seconds.

Headset Charging

Power LED Status:

  • Breathing: Charging
  • Off: Charging complete

It is recommended to fully charge the headset before first use.

Setup and Connection

Basic Setup

This headset uses 2.4G wireless mode for PC, Mac, PS4, and Nintendo devices. It does not support Bluetooth connectivity.

Headset Connection (PC)

Wireless Connection:

  1. Connect the wireless adapter to a USB port on your PC.
  2. Press the power button on the headset for 3 seconds to power on.
  3. The headset is connected when the wireless adapter status light is solid and the headset ear cup LED is solid.

Windows Configuration:

  1. Open the 'Control Panel', click on 'All Control Panel Items'.
  2. Right-click on 'MPOW wireless gaming headset' and select 'Set as Default Device' for both Playback and Recording.

Headset Connection (MAC)

Wireless Connection:

  1. Connect the wireless adapter to a USB port on your MAC.
  2. Press the power button on the headset for 3 seconds to power on.
  3. The headset is connected when the wireless adapter status light is solid and the headset ear cup LED is solid.

MAC Configuration:

  1. Click on 'System Preferences...'.
  2. Click on 'Sound'.
  3. Under 'Output', right-click on 'MPOW wireless gaming headset' and select 'Set as Default Device'.
  4. Under 'Input', right-click on 'MPOW wireless gaming headset' and select 'Set as Default Device'.

Headset Connection and Configuration (PS4 /PS4 Slim/PS4 Pro/)

Wireless Connection:

  1. Turn on your PS4 game console.
  2. Connect the wireless adapter to a USB port on your PS4.
  3. Press the power button on the headset for 3 seconds to power on.
  4. The headset is connected when the wireless adapter status light is solid and the headset ear cup LED is solid.

PlayStation 4 Configuration:

  1. Click 'Settings' on the screen.
  2. Click on the 'Devices' tab.
  3. Click on the 'Audio Devices' tab.
  4. Click on 'Input Device' and 'Output Device', right-click on 'MPOW wireless gaming headset' and select 'Set as Default Device'. Adjust the 'volume control (headphones)'.

Headset Connection (Nintendo Switch)

Wireless Connection:

  1. Turn on your Nintendo Switch. Then plug the Switch into the docking station and connect the monitor.
  2. Connect the wireless adapter to a USB port on your Nintendo docking station.
  3. Press the power button on the headset for 3 seconds to power on.
  4. The headset is connected when the wireless adapter status light is solid and the headset ear cup LED is solid.

Headset Connection (Wired)

The headset can be used as a wired headphone with the included 3.5mm audio cable.

  1. Connect the 3.5mm headphone cable to the headphone port on the headset.
  2. Plug the 3.5mm headphone cable into your device.

Note: The microphone may require a 3.5mm 4-pole to mic/stereo splitter adapter (not included) when connecting to a Desktop in wired mode. The microphone cannot be used on Nintendo Switch in wired mode.

Troubleshooting Tips

No Sound / Low Sound

Possible Cause Solution
Volume control turned down Press the Volume Up button on the headset. If necessary, adjust the Chat/Game Mix.
Loose connector Confirm that each plug is inserted firmly and fully.
App Problem Close the active App and re-open it. Alternatively, power cycle the device (e.g., Xbox One). The Audio Output in a particular application may need to be reset.

Microphone Not Working

Possible Cause Solution
Chat volume control turned down Press the Chat Button on the headset.
Desktop need adapter A 3.5mm 4-pole to mic/stereo splitter adapter (not included) may be required for desktop use in wired mode.
Input setting If connected to a computer, ensure your computer's microphone input settings are properly configured. If connected to a PS4/Mac, click on ‘MPOW wireless gaming headset’ and select ‘Set as Default Device’.
Microphone can not use on Switch Microphone is not supported on Nintendo Switch in wired mode.

Voice Interrupted

Possible Cause Solution
Multiple devices exist Check that the default sound device is correctly selected for this headset.
Distance Check the distance between the transmitter and headset. Signal may weaken beyond 40ft.
Obstructions Ensure there are no metal objects or walls between the transmitter and headset. Maintain a clear connection.
Router interferences If a router is nearby, move the headset or transmitter further away, as 2.4GHz devices can interfere.
Poor network Check if the network connection is normal, as a poor network can affect voice quality.
