Assembly Instructions

  1. Step 1: Prepare and Measure

Identify the components: three mounting brackets (part number 10081537) and the roller blind assembly. You will need a spirit level and pencil for accurate marking. Measure and mark the wall or window frame for bracket placement, ensuring approximately 10 cm (3 15/16 inches) of space from each end of the mechanism for proper centering.

  2. Step 2: Attach Brackets to Mechanism

Attach the three mounting brackets (10081537) to the roller blind mechanism. Diagrams show how these brackets slide onto the rail of the mechanism and are locked into position.

  3. Step 3: Mount Brackets to Wall/Frame

Mount the brackets (now attached to the mechanism) to the wall or window frame. Use appropriate screws and wall plugs for your specific wall material (not included). Ensure brackets are level and securely fastened.

  4. Step 4: Install Roller Blind

Lift the roller blind assembly and align it with the mounted brackets. Slide the mechanism into place until it locks securely. A distinct 'click' sound confirms proper engagement. The pull cord ring (10046985) is visible.

  5. Step 5: Attach Fabric to Roller

Attach the roller blind fabric to the roller tube. First, attach the fabric to the bottom bar. Then, carefully insert the fabric into the roller mechanism. Ensure the fabric is evenly seated and secured, often indicated by a 'click!' sound.

  6. Step 6: Operation

Operate the roller blind. To lower, pull the cord downwards. To stop at a desired height, pull the cord slightly to the side. To raise, pull the cord upwards. The RIKTIG pull rod is shown as an optional accessory for easier operation.
