Operation

1. Find the 2x CR2032 batteries in the box and locate the battery holder on the back of the scales. Open the cover, install the batteries into the holder, and then reclose it (making sure the positive pole of the battery faces upwards).
2. Place the scales on a steady, flat, hard surface.
3. Press the “ON/TARE” button to switch the scales on. It will go through its start-up process and will be ready once the LCD screen displays "0g". [Screen display: 0g]
4. Press the "UNIT" button and you can choose between the units "g", "lb:oz", "fl.oz", and "ml". [Unit selection screen examples: 0g, 0 lb:oz, 0 fl.oz, 0 ml]
5. Put the container or ingredients that you want to weigh on the platform of the scale. The weight will be displayed on the LCD screen. [Example screen display: 23g]
6. Press the "ON/TARE" button to clear the weight of whatever is on the platform. The screen will show "0g" and "Tare". You can then put ingredients inside the container or add more ingredients to the platform, where the weight of the newly added produce will be displayed on the LCD screen. [Example screen displays: Tare 0g, Tare 22g]
7. Continue to use the "ON/TARE" button to get respective weights on more items by repeating the tare process. When all product is removed from the platform, the total weight will be shown on the screen. [Example screen display: Tare 58g]
8. Press the “ON/TARE” button to switch the scales off when the screen shows "0g" if no more weighing is needed. The scales will also shut off automatically if no buttons are pressed and nothing is weighed for a certain time.

Caution

Please change the batteries when "Lo" appears on the screen, which indicates that the battery is out of power. [Screen display: Lo]

"EEEE" shown on the screen indicates overload. [Screen display: EEEE]

Attention

1. Please put the scales on a hard and flat surface (a clean, hard table is best) and make sure it is steady before use.
2. The maximum weight that the scales can measure is 5000g, which is the weight BEFORE the tare.
3. Please use a soft tissue with rubbing alcohol or glass cleaner to clean the surface of the platform if it gets dirty. Do not use soap or other chemicals. Keep the unit away from water, corrosive liquids, heat, or extreme coldness.
4. The scale is a high-precision measurement device. Never knock it heavily or try to disassemble it, and carry it carefully when moving it to a different location.
5. The scale is for family and household use only and is not suitable for professional or commercial use.
6. Please check the battery if the scale malfunctions. If problems persist after batteries have been replaced, please contact the Kogan customer support team via email or phone for further assistance.
