Product Overview
The LevelPro® PLF Magnetic Float Level Switch Assembly provides precise liquid level detection for industrial applications. It is suitable for day tank, skid or machine, cooling tower, waste sump, or process tank applications. The switch can be connected directly to a PLC or relay controller and acts as an on/off switch for pumps or valves, enabling automated tank operations. The PLF is designed for non-viscous and non-coating liquids.
The assembly offers liquid level detection up to 6 feet (1.8 meters) with the capability of having 1 to 8 level switch points and a compact junction box for wiring termination.

Model Selection
The model selection for the PLF series involves specifying the material, number of contact points, switching position, and length. The general format is PLF-Material-Number of Contacts-Switching Position-Length.
Material Codes: 2: PVC, 3: PP, 5: PVDF, 8: 316 SS
Switching Position Codes: 1: NO (Normally Open), 2: NC (Normally Closed)
Length (L1): Dimension in inches.
Example Part Number Structure: PLF-2-X-Y-D (where 'X' is the number of floats, 'Y' is the contact type, and 'D' is the dimension in inches).
