Overview
This section provides a general overview of the soundbar system, including its components and recommended placement for optimal surround sound experience. For the best surround sound, position the soundbar, subwoofer, and satellite speakers as shown. The soundbar should be close to ear level. The best sound effect is achieved with a flat ceiling around 7.5ft to 12ft high.

Soundbar Diagram:
The soundbar features Volume Up, Volume Down, Source, and On/Off buttons. The remote control includes Power, Volume Up/Down, Mute, Source, Play/Pause/OK, Next/Previous Track, Bass Up/Down, Treble Up/Down, and Sound Mode (Music/Movie/Talk) buttons.

- Subwoofer/Satellite Speakers: RESET hole, LED INDICATOR
First Time Setup
1. Connect Subwoofer & Satellites:
Automatic Pairing:
- Press and hold the reset hole on the subwoofer and satellite speakers for 1 second with a pin.
- Press and hold the 'SOURCE' and 'VOLUME DOWN' buttons simultaneously on the soundbar or remote control for 3 seconds.
- The indicator lights will flash rapidly during pairing and turn solid blue when the wireless connection is successful. Ensure the subwoofer and satellite speakers are within 5m of the soundbar.
2. Choose Cable & Connect to TV:
Connect one cable to the Soundbar and TV:
- HDMI (eARC): For the best experience, your TV must support HDMI-CEC and Enhanced Audio Return Channel (eARC). Enable CEC and ARC/eARC in your TV's settings. Only HDMI 2.0 cables (and higher) support eARC.
- OPTICAL: Connect using an optical audio cable.
- 3.5MM AUX: Connect using a 3.5mm AUX cable.
Tip for Roku TV users: Connect the soundbar to the HDMI (ARC/eARC) port on your Roku TV using the included cable and follow the on-screen instructions.
3. Place Soundbar, Subwoofer, and Satellite Speakers:
On a Surface: Center the soundbar below the TV. Place the subwoofer and satellite speakers as shown in the diagrams for optimal surround sound.
On a Wall (Optional):
- Soundbar: Use the included wall mounting template to mark holes. Attach the L-shaped bracket to the soundbar using bracket screws. Secure the bracket to the wall, ensuring it's attached to wall studs, drywall anchors, or concrete anchors. Slide the soundbar onto the bracket.
- Satellite Speakers: Attach the wall mount screw to the back of the satellite speakers. Secure the wall mount bracket to the wall. Slide the speakers onto the wall brackets, ensuring the wall mount screw is secured within the bracket grooves.
4. Connect Power: Plug the power cable into the soundbar and then into an electrical outlet.
5. Install Batteries in Remote: Insert 2 AAA batteries into the remote control, observing correct polarity.
Operation
Power On/Off: Press the 'POWER' button on the remote control or the soundbar.
Select Source: Press the 'SOURCE' button on the remote control or the soundbar to cycle through available audio sources (HDMI, Optical, AUX, Bluetooth, USB).
Bluetooth® Operation:
- Pair Device: Press and hold the 'SOURCE' button on the remote control until the Bluetooth indicator flashes.
- Search on Device: On your Bluetooth-enabled device, search for "onn. 5.1.2 Soundbar" and select it to pair.
- Play Audio: Play audio from your connected device.
- Volume: Control the volume using the device, remote, or soundbar.
USB Operation:
- Insert USB Device: Insert a USB device containing audio files into the USB port.
- Select USB Mode: Use the 'SOURCE' button on the remote or soundbar to select USB mode.
- Play Audio: Use the remote control buttons (Play/Pause, Next/Previous Track) to control playback.
Sound Modes: Select MUSIC, MOVIE, or TALK mode using the 'SOUND MODE' button on the remote for optimized audio.
DTS Virtual:X™: Press the 'VRT:X' button to enable or disable Virtual:X. When enabled, it simulates overhead sound effects. When disabled, sources play without virtualization.
Other Controls:
- Volume: Use VOLUME UP/DOWN buttons.
- Mute: Press the MUTE button.
- Bass/Treble: Adjust Bass and Treble levels using the BASS +/- and TREBLE +/- buttons.
- Dimmer: Adjust display brightness (4 levels: High / Medium / Low / Off).
LED Indicator Status:
- Flashing: In pairing mode.
- Breathing: Connection/Pairing Failed.
- Solid: Connected/Pairing successful.
Cleaning & Care
CAUTION: Ensure the unit is fully unplugged from the power supply before cleaning.
- Never use abrasive pads to clean the device.
- Avoid using liquids to clean the device.

Troubleshooting
Problem: No Power
- Cause: Power is off.
- Solution: Press the 'POWER' button. Ensure the power cord is securely connected. Verify the outlet is working by plugging in a different device.
Problem: Low Volume / Mute
- Cause: Volume is low or muted on the source device or soundbar.
- Solution: Increase volume on the source device, remote, or soundbar. Unmute the source device.
Problem: No Audio (Digital Inputs)
- Cause: TV audio output settings are incorrect.
- Solution: Change TV output to PCM. Select a different input source. Connect directly to another device (Blu-Ray, Game System, etc.). Set TV audio output to fixed or standard, NOT variable.
Problem: Bluetooth Breakup or Disconnect
- Cause: Subwoofer/soundbar too far apart, obstructions, or interference from other wireless devices.
- Solution: Move the subwoofer closer to the soundbar (within 5m). Move the source device closer to the soundbar or into its line-of-sight. Turn off or move away interfering devices (wireless security cameras, video baby monitors, cordless phones, microwave ovens).
Problem: No Audio (General)
- Cause: Input source not selected correctly, or TV audio output not compatible.
- Solution: Ensure the correct input source is selected. Check TV audio output settings (some TVs do not pass through digital audio).
Resetting Subwoofer and Satellite Speakers: If experiencing connection issues, reset the subwoofer and satellite speakers by pressing the reset hole with a pin for 1 second.

Protect the power cord. Use only manufacturer-specified attachments. Use caution when moving the cart/apparatus combination. Unplug during lightning storms or long periods of disuse. The lightning arrowhead symbol alerts to dangerous voltage. Batteries should not be exposed to excessive heat. Keep batteries away from children.
