Product Overview

The NETUM 2D Barcode Scanner supports QR code, PDF417 code, and DataMatrix code.

Configuration Settings

1. Factory Default Settings

To restore factory default settings:

1. Scan the "Enter/Exit Setting" barcode.
2. Scan the "Factory Default Settings" barcode.
3. Scan the "Enter/Exit Setting" barcode again to exit.

Note: Factory Default Settings do not change the interface setting. For example, if the interface setting of a scanner is USB Keyboard mode, after the factory default setting, the interface mode will remain USB Keyboard.

2. Read the Version Number

Scan the barcode below to read the version number:

3. USB Interface Setting

When connecting the scanner via USB, it can be set as USB Keyboard or USB COM interface. The default is USB Keyboard. To change the mode, scan the appropriate barcode:

(1) USB Keyboard Mode

Scan the USB Keyboard setting code to set the interface as USB keyboard.

(2) USB COM Mode

For applications on PC, the interface mode can be set as USB COM mode. When using USB COM mode, a USB virtual serial driver needs to be installed on the PC.

4. Aimer Setting

• Aimer On: [Barcode: AFF111]

5. Enter/Line Feed Setting

• Add Enter: [Barcode: E99311]
• Remove Enter: [Barcode: E99310]
• Add Line Feed: [Barcode: E99211]
• Remove Line Feed: [Barcode: E99210]
• Add Enter and Line Feed: [Barcode: P66A66E]
• Remove Enter and Line Feed: [Barcode: P66A66F]

6. USB Interface Settings (PC/Mac Keyboard)

Scan one of the following codes to program the engine for USB PC Keyboard or USB Macintosh Keyboard. Scanning these codes also adds a CR and LF.

Scan the appropriate country code below to program the keyboard layout for your country or language:

12. FAQ

1. For DataMatrix, does it support?

   Yes, it does. If not, please scan the DATA MATIX CODE to enable this function.

2. Sometimes scan the QR code is slowly or can't scan, what is the reason?

   Maybe the screen brightness of your cellphone or PC is too dark. Please adjust the brightness and try again.

3. How can I restore factory settings?

   Firstly, scan the "Enter/Exit Setting" code, then scan the "Factory Default Settings" code, finally scan the "Enter/Exit Setting" code again.

4. How long is the warranty of NETUM?

   All NETUM products come with a 6-month full warranty from the date of its original purchase.
