Safety Instructions

Important Safety Instructions for the Tool:
- Do not look into the light or expose eyes directly to the beam; eyes may be damaged.
- Do not cover or clog the lit tool with cloth or carton, as this may cause a flame.
- The tool is not waterproof. Do not use in damp or wet locations, or expose to rain or snow. Do not wash it in water.
- Do not touch the inside of the flashlight head with tweezers, metal tools, etc.
- Avoid dropping or striking the tool.
- When the tool is not in use, always switch it off and remove the battery cartridge.
- Battery Tool Use and Care:
- Prevent unintentional starting: Ensure the switch is in the OFF position before connecting the battery pack, picking up, or carrying the machine.
- Disconnect the battery pack before making any adjustments, changing accessories, or storing the machine.
- Recharge only with the charger specified by the manufacturer.
- Use the appliance only with specifically designated battery packs.
- Keep battery packs away from metal objects (paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws) when not in use to prevent short circuits.
- Avoid contact with battery liquid if ejected; flush with water if contact occurs. Seek medical help if liquid contacts eyes.

Important Safety Instructions for Battery Cartridge:
- Read all instructions and cautionary markings on the charger, battery, and product before use.
- Do not disassemble the battery cartridge.
- If operating time becomes excessively shorter, stop operating immediately to avoid overheating, burns, or explosion.
- If electrolyte gets into eyes, rinse with clear water and seek immediate medical attention.
- Do not short the battery cartridge:
- Do not touch terminals with conductive material.
- Avoid storing with other metal objects.
- Do not expose to water or rain.
- Do not store the tool and battery cartridge where temperatures may reach or exceed 50°C (122°F).
- Do not incinerate the battery cartridge, even if damaged; it can explode.
- Be careful not to drop or strike the battery.
- Do not use a damaged battery.
- Lithium-ion batteries are subject to Dangerous Goods Legislation. Observe specific packaging and labeling requirements for transport. Consult a hazardous material expert if needed.
- When disposing of the battery cartridge, remove it from the tool and dispose of it safely according to local regulations.
- Use batteries only with Bormann PRO specified products.
- If the tool is not used for a long period, remove the battery.
CAUTION: Only use genuine Bormann PRO batteries. Use of non-genuine or altered batteries may cause fire, injury, damage, and void the warranty.
Tips for Maintaining Maximum Battery Life
- Charge the battery before it is completely discharged.
- Never recharge a fully charged battery; overcharging shortens service life.
- Charge the battery at room temperature (5°C - 45°C). Let a hot battery cool down before charging.
- Charge the battery if not used for over six months.

Operating Instructions
Description of Main Parts (Refer to Diagram A)

CAUTION: Ensure the tool is switched OFF and the battery cartridge is removed before performing adjustments or checks.
Adjusting the Angle of the Worklight (Refer to Pictures 1-2)

CAUTION: Hold the tool firmly when changing the angle to prevent slipping and damage.
- Loosen the knobs anticlockwise on both sides.
- Adjust the angle of the worklight to the desired position.
- Tighten the knobs clockwise again. A total angle of 120° is permitted.
Installing or Removing the Battery Cartridge (Refer to Pictures 3-4)

CAUTION: Always switch off the tool before installing or removing the battery cartridge.
CAUTION: Hold the tool and battery cartridge firmly during installation/removal to prevent dropping and injury.
- Adjust the worklight angle as shown in the picture.
- To remove the battery cartridge, slide it from the tool while pressing the button on the front of the cartridge.
- To install the battery cartridge, align the tongue on the cartridge with the groove in the housing and slide it into place until it clicks securely.
CAUTION: Always install the battery cartridge fully. A loose cartridge may fall out, causing injury.
CAUTION: Do not force the battery cartridge. If it doesn't slide in easily, it's not aligned correctly.
Lighting Up the Light (Refer to Picture 5)

- To turn the light ON: Press the power switch to "I" for high brightness, or "II" for low brightness.
- To turn the light OFF: Press the power switch to "O (Middle)".
CAUTION: Do not look directly at the light source.
Battery Protection System
The tool has a protection system that automatically cuts off power to prolong battery life. The light will turn off when the battery capacity is low. This is normal operation. Remove the battery and charge it.
Adjusting the Angle of the Handle (Refer to Picture 6)

- Use a hex wrench to loosen the hex bolts anticlockwise on both sides.
- Adjust the handle angle to the desired position.
- Tighten the bolts clockwise again.
Maintenance
CAUTION: Ensure the tool is OFF and the battery cartridge is removed before performing maintenance.
NOTICE: Never use gasoline, benzine, thinner, alcohol, or similar solvents, as they can cause discoloration, deformation, or cracks.
For product SAFETY and RELIABILITY, all repairs, maintenance, and adjustments must be performed by Bormann PRO Authorized or Factory Service Centers, using only Bormann PRO replacement parts.
Cleaning
Periodically wipe the exterior (tool body) with a cloth dampened in soapy water.
