1. Important Safeguards
When using the appliance, please follow below safety precautions:
The following chart indicates the degree of damage caused by wrong operation.
- WARNING: Indicates that may cause death or serious injury.
- CAUTION: Indicates hazards that may cause human injuries or property damages.
The following symbols can distinguish the instruction types that need to be strictly followed.
- ? These symbols mean prohibition.
- ✅ These symbols mean requirement that must be followed.
CAUTION
- Do not operate the handheld garment steamer without the water tank or when the water tank is empty, otherwise it will cause damage.
- Do not use the appliance with the exception of fabric (e.g. leather). It will cause deformation, discoloration and color fading.
- Always disconnect the appliance from the power socket before filling or draining water.
- When using the appliance on high-grade or special clothes, try it in a hidden place first and follow the garment symbol.
- When in use, only clear water can be filled into the water tank. Never fill in any detergent, perfume or chemicals into the water tank, otherwise it will cause damage.
- Do not operate the appliance when the power cord is tangle, or let it touch any hot surface, or pull the power cord around sharp edges and corners or clip the power cord between the door. Otherwise it may cause power cord damage.
- After use, unplug the appliance and let it cool down before moving, cleaning or checking.
- Grasp the plug itself when plug in or unplug the appliance, do not grasp the power cord.
- Do not operate the appliance in the following places:
- - Humid environment or near water.
- - Near heat sources such as electric oven, induction cooker and fire
- - Near flammable or non-resistant to heat objects (e.g. curtain and towel etc.)
- Do not place heavy objects on the power cord. Never clip, modify, stretch or twist the power cord.
- Before storing the appliance, make sure that the appliance has cooled down and drain all the water from the water tank.
- When the appliance is operating, high-temperature steam will produce, which can cause deformation, discoloration and color fading of clothes with poor heat resistance (e.g. leather). Do not use it if any.
- When using, do not tip over the appliance. Otherwise may cause appliance unable to release steam or malfunction.
WARNING
- To avoid danger, read all instructions carefully before use. Do not use it for other purpose. Misuse can cause electric shock or fire.
- Before connecting to power, make sure the rated voltage on the appliance corresponds to the local voltage. Make sure the appliance is connected to a suitable power socket with earth wire.
- To avoid burns, do not put your face or hands near high temperature parts such as steam vent during or immediately after use. Do not touch the high temperature part just after use, as there is still residual heat.
- Be careful when using the appliance due to the emission of steam.
- Do not use the same socket with other high power consumption appliance or use extension cord beyond its capacity to avoid power overload and cause fire.
- Never allow children to operate, clean, perform maintenance on the appliance alone or play as toy. Put the appliance and its power cord in a place not reachable by children.
- Never leave the appliance unattended when in use. If need to leave the appliance, please unplug it to avoid burns.
- Do not touch, plug in or remove the plug with wet hands, it can cause electric shock.
- Make sure the plug is dry before use.
- Never immerse the main body, power cord or plug in water or let them wet, it can cause electric shock or fire.
- Do not attempt to modify the appliance by yourself or repair with any unauthorized parts, otherwise it will cause hazards and warranty will become invalid.
- The appliance is intended to be used in household or similar applications such as staff kitchen in shops, offices and other working environments; by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments.
- The appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
- Always check the condition of the appliance, power cord and plug. To avoid hazard, stop using the appliance immediately and contact Shun Hing Electric Service Centre Limited for checking and repairing if any part is damaged.
2. Maintenance, Cleaning and Storage
2.1 Product Maintenance
Since water in different areas contains different amounts of minerals, some areas may contain a higher mineral contents in water. Mineral buildup is a common phenomenon for garment steamers. Mineral residue inside the steam hose and heater can cause intermittent steam, or in some cases no steam at all. It is recommended to remove the mineral build-up every month according to below procedures:
Remove water scale from appliance
- Before maintenance, unplug from the power socket.
- Let the appliance cool down, drain all water from the water tank.
- Mix a solution of 50% vinegar and 50% water (capacity is around 200 ml). Fill water vinegar solution into the water tank.
- Insert the plug into the power socket, wait for the heating indicator light off.
- Press and hold the steam button to release steam. Process around 2-3 minutes.
- Repeat the above process 1 to 2 times. This process can remove water scale from the appliance.
- If sour smell is found, fill water into the water tank and wait for heating to release the steam.
- Repeat the step 7. process 1 to 2 times to remove the sour smell in the appliance.
- When completed cleaning process, reinstall the water tank and you can continue to use it.
Remove water scale from the water tank
- Take out the water tank, mix a solution of 50% vinegar and 50% water (capacity is around 200 ml). Fill water vinegar solution into the water tank, wait for it to soak around 15 minutes, drain all water vinegar solution from the water tank.
- Then clean the water tank with water, this process can remove water scale from the water tank.
- Reinstall the water tank and you can continue to use it.
2.2 Regular Cleaning and Storage
- Before cleaning, remove the plug from the socket and let the appliance cool down.
- Remove the water tank and drain all the water. Rinse the water tank with clean water and let it dry. Then put it back.
- Do not immerse the appliance in water or other water solution for cleaning.
- Do not put any cleaning detergent, saline solution and chemicals solution into water tank.
- Clean the appliance surface with a damp cotton cloth. Do not rub with harsh cleaning tools (e.g. wire brush).
- Do not clean with corrosive or poisonous detergent.
- Remove the plug from the power socket if the appliance is not used for a long period of time.
- The appliance must be completely cool down and dry before storage. Store it in a dry environment.
- When stored, never wrap the power cord tightly around the appliance or put any pressure on the power cord. It is to avoid power cord damage.

5. Installation and removal of water tank
To install the water tank: Hold the handle of the appliance, put the water tank into the groove, and then turn the water tank in the anti-clockwise direction to the lock position [?]. The installation is completed.
To remove the water tank: Turn the water tank in the clockwise direction to the unlocking position [?] and pull it out.

6. Operation Instructions
6.1 First Use
- Before use, there may be water vapor remaining in the water tank. This is a normal phenomenon, as the appliance was tested during production.
- Rinse the water tank with clean water before first use.
- When the appliance is new, it may have a smell due to the new packing. The smell will gradually disappear with time.
6.2 Preparation and Operation
- Pull out the water tank, fill water into the water tank. Ensure the water level is below the MAX mark. (Note: Only fill room temperature water, never fill hot water for use.)
- Install the water tank. After inserting the plug into the power socket, the appliance enters the preheating state. Wait for the heating indicator light to turn off. The appliance is ready to use.
- When you press and hold the steam button, steam will spurt out. Release the steam button and the steam will stop.
- When steaming, you can stretch the clothes with your hand at the same time. Press the steam vent lightly on the clothes and move it up and down to iron the clothes.
- When using, do not tip over the appliance, otherwise it may cause the appliance to be unable to release steam or malfunction.
- Please adjust the appropriate steam emissions according to the type of clothes.
- After use, please unplug the plug from the socket to avoid burns.

Tips:
- When steaming thick clothes or removing stubborn wrinkles, repeat the ironing several times.
- It is recommended to fill it with distilled water or mineral-free water.
6.3 Automatic constant temperature design
The appliance heating function has a preset temperature value. When the appliance reaches the preset temperature, the constant temperature function will automatically start and stop heating to stabilize the temperature. At this time, the heating indicator light will turn off. It will be reheated when the temperature drops slightly below the preset temperature. Therefore, during normal use, the heating indicator light will turn on and off, which is normal and indicates that the appliance is maintaining the required temperature.
6.4 Safety protection
Thermal fuse protection:
The appliance has a built-in overheat protection. When an abnormal temperature occurs and the temperature sensing element fails, the overheat protection will start and directly cut off the power supply to prevent accidents.

8. Special Avowal

9. After Sales Service
- For any defect, in the judgement of technician from Shun Hing Electric Service Centre Limited, caused under normal use, our company is responsible for repairing or replacing parts of the said electrical appliance free of charge within one year guarantee period commencing from the date of purchase. Any defect part which has been replaced shall become our property. Guarantee service does not cover the repair or replacement of consumable parts etc.
