This document provides a quick start guide for the ENDGAME GEAR XM2w 4k wireless gaming mouse. It covers initial setup, button functions, LED indicators, and regulatory compliance information.
Setup Instructions
Follow these steps to set up your ENDGAME GEAR XM2w 4k mouse:
- Unboxing: Carefully unpack the contents, which include the XM2w 4k mouse, a USB-C cable, and the HS Dongle.
- Power and Mode: Locate the power switch ⏻ on the underside of the mouse and the mode button ⚙️ on the top. Ensure the power switch is set to 'on'.
- Connection: Plug the HS Dongle into a USB port on your computer. For optimal wireless performance, it is recommended to keep the dongle within approximately 20cm (8 inches) of the mouse.
- Software: For advanced customization and firmware updates, download the latest software from the official ENDGAME GEAR website: www.endgamegear.com/downloads ⬇️.

Mode Button Functions (7):
The mode button allows you to cycle through different settings:
- Short Press: Cycles through default CPI (Counts Per Inch) settings. The LED will briefly change color to indicate the selected setting:
- 400 CPI: Blue ?
- 800 CPI: Green ?
- 1600 CPI: Yellow ?
- 3200 CPI: Red ?
- Long Press (hold for > 1.5 seconds): Cycles through polling rate settings. The LED will indicate the selected rate:
- 4000Hz (4x polling rate)
- 2000Hz (2x polling rate)
- 1000Hz (1x polling rate)
