Chapter 1 Overview
1.1 Product Introduction
Diagram Description (Figure 1-1 Appearance): The diagram shows the physical appearance of the Hikvision DS-K2M061 Secure Door Control Unit. It is a compact device designed to maintain door status in case of access control terminal failure or damage from external force.
The secure door control unit acts as a middle layer between the access control terminal and the door lock within an access control system. The top side connects to the access control terminal, while the bottom side connects to devices such as door contacts, door magnets, exit buttons, and Wiegand card readers. When equipped with access control equipment, it enhances door control security.
1.2 Appearance Introduction
Diagram Description (Figure 1-2 Appearance Description): This section details the physical components of the DS-K2M061 unit through two views (top and side) and a corresponding table.
Components:
- 1. LED Indicator: This indicator serves as the power indicator (POWER). A solid red light signifies that the device is powered on.
- 2. Cable Interface: This is where various cables are connected.
- 3. Debugging Port: A port designated solely for debugging purposes.
