Hikvision DS-K1T341CMW/CMFW Face Recognition Terminal Setup with Bosch Solution 6000

Introduction

This document provides instructions for setting up the Hikvision DS-K1T341CMW/CMFW Face Recognition Terminal in conjunction with the Bosch Solution 6000 access control panel.

Required Parts

CM796B Wiegand to DF RS485 LAN Interface Module

Setup Steps

Step 1: On DS-K1T341CMW/CMFW Terminal

Activate the device at the Start Up Screen (follow on-screen prompts).
Follow prompts to add an Admin User.

Step 2: User Management

Hold finger on the screen until the Swipe Finger Symbol appears, then swipe left.
Log into the unit using the Username and Pass Code.
Navigate to the User Icon and press '+'.
Edit Name.
Add Card: This is required. Press '+' and enter a card number (a generic number or a MiFare card number can be used).
Press the Tick icon [✔️] to save.
Add Face and/or Fingerprint: Press '+' to add, then press the Tick icon [✔️] to save.

Step 3: Wiegand Configuration

Go to the Comm Icon.
Go to Wiegand settings. Tap to turn it ON. Change from Input to Output. Leave the setting as 26 Bit, then press '<'.

Step 4: Exit Program

Exit the program.

Step 5: On Solution 6000

Ensure that Door Control has been set up on the Bosch Solution 6000 panel. Refer to Page 9 of the Bosch Solution 6000 Quick Reference Guide for details.

Step 6: Adding Token

Navigate: Menu 1-2-0.
Select User.
Choose Reader: ADD TOKEN.
Enter Wi# Keypad # Name.

Step 7: Present Face

Present a face to the Face Terminal and wait for the read confirmation on the Solution 6000.

Step 8: Additional Faces

For adding more faces, repeat Step 5.

Step 9: Exit

Press and hold the Menu Key to exit.

Wiring Diagram Description

- YL = DATA 0 (Wiegand 0 - GREEN wire)
- GN = DATA 1 (Wiegand 1 - WHITE wire)
- WH = LED
- BL = BUZZER
The '+Loop' terminal is for wire termination only and has no voltage.

Hikvision DS-K1T341AM(F) Connections:

Power Input: +12V, GND
Wiegand: Group A (WO = D0 - GREEN), Group C (W1 = D1 - WHITE), GND
Network: Optional connection for network.
