Nextech LA9039 2G/3G/4G OBD GPS Tracker Quick Guide

Getting Started

This guide provides essential steps for setting up your Nextech LA9039 OBD GPS Tracker.

1. Install a compatible 3G/4G SIM card. Ensure data services are activated on your SIM plan.
2. Insert the OBD tracker into your vehicle's OBD socket. The device will power on automatically.
3. Observe the LED indicators for device status. Flashing lights indicate normal operation, while specific patterns may signal internet connectivity issues or lack of GPS signal.
4. Contact your mobile service provider to obtain the correct APN (Access Point Name) for your SIM card.
5. Configure the APN settings by sending an SMS command to the tracker in the format: APN*12345678*apnname, where 12345678 is the tracker's password.
6. Log in to the tracking website www.nextechgps.com using the last 7 digits of the tracker's serial number as both username and password.
7. Download and install the free NextechGPS app from www.igps.info/nextech to monitor your vehicle's location on your smartphone or tablet.

Important Notes

• The APN setting is crucial for accurate location tracking. Incorrect APN details may result in location data appearing in unintended regions.
• Refer to the battery compartment of your tracker for the serial number, username, and password.
