Exercise
Intended Use
This equipment is intended for general physical conditioning and exercise. It is designed for commercial use.
Before You Begin:
- Get a complete medical examination to ensure no medical contraindications exist before starting a training program.
- Always warm up your muscles before exercising. A 5-10 minute warm-up on a treadmill, elliptical, or stationary bike is recommended, followed by stretching exercises (slowly, without jerky movements). Then, proceed with a light warm-up set (50% of normal load).
- Start your program cautiously with light weights. In the first weeks, choose weights that allow you to exercise without strain.
- Always perform movements with maximum range of motion.
- If you have injuries, consult a professional trainer.
Terminology:
- Repetition (Rep): One complete movement within an exercise, returning to the starting position.
- Set: A series of repetitions (typically 6 to 15).
Workout Process:
The number of repetitions per set depends on your goals. For muscle mass and strength, perform fewer repetitions (6-8) with heavier weights. For endurance, perform more repetitions (12-15) with lighter weights. Never "cheat" by shortening the range of motion, using momentum, or changing body position. While these techniques may allow you to lift heavier weights, they are dangerous and less effective.
Rest for 45-90 seconds between sets of the same exercise. When performing circuit training, move quickly to the next exercise with minimal rest to maintain heart rate and breathing. Perform up to three sets per exercise. When you can comfortably complete the desired number of reps and sets, increase the working weight by one plate or half a plate.
Workout Planning:
Circuit training is optimal for beginners. Perform one set of each exercise, moving to the next with minimal rest to maintain heart rate and breathing, until a balanced cycle of 8-10 exercises covering all muscle groups is completed. Then, repeat the cycle. After a few weeks, you can move to performing multiple sets (3) per exercise.
Both methods involve working the entire body every other day, up to three times a week. Note: Full rest days, proper nutrition, and hydration are essential for optimal muscle growth or toning. Alternatively, you can work half the body one day (e.g., upper body) and the other half the next day (e.g., lower body).
Finish your workout with a cool-down, similar to the warm-up.

Assembly
Required Tools:
- Rubber Mallet
- Flat Head Screwdriver
All Cybex Strength Systems equipment comes with plastic caps on the legs, designed to protect the bottom of the equipment during shipping. These caps must be removed from the legs before operating the equipment to ensure stability.
CAUTION: If the shipping caps are not removed from the legs before operating the equipment, the equipment will be unstable, posing a risk of injury to users or damage to the equipment.
NOTE: Failure to remove the shipping caps from the legs before operating the equipment may void the manufacturer's warranty on the frame.
REMOVING CAPS FROM LEGS:
NOTE: Exercise extreme caution to avoid damaging the frame (e.g., chipping paint) when removing the caps.
NOTE: To remove a cap from a leg, you will need to slightly lift the corresponding leg. Do not install the weight stack (if applicable) until the caps have been removed from all legs.
- Gently tap the cap on the leg with a rubber mallet.
- Using a flat head screwdriver, carefully pry the cap loose.
- Carefully place the rubber pads (included with the equipment) under each leg of the main frame.
