1. Prepare Turntable

Turntable Setup - Place Turntable on a Flat and Level Surface

  1. Remove all packaging materials.
  2. Remove tonearm twist tie.
  3. (Optional) Add some WSQK styling to your turntable and wrap the twist tie around the tonearm, ensuring the ends don't scratch your records. You never know when it may come in handy.
  4. Remove tape and clear stylus cover. Note: Gently pull stylus cover forward to remove.
  5. (Optional) Install the WSQK slipmat: Remove the three rubber plugs from the platter, place slipmat on platter.

2. Connect Speakers

  1. Using the included speaker cables, connect the ends with the right-angle plugs into the WSQK SPEAKERS ONLY ports located on the front panel of the turntable.
  2. Connect the straight ends of the speaker cables into the ports on the back of each speaker.

3. Place Speakers

Use one of our recommended placements below for inspiration, or create your own setup! Place your speakers however you like, there are no rules here. Stack them, stagger them, or even flip them...Upside Down!

4. Using the WSQK Record Player

General Operation

  1. Press and hold the power button for 1 second to power the turntable on/off.
  2. Use the source slider to select operation mode.
  3. Use the volume slider to adjust volume.

Vinyl Mode

  1. Slide the source slider to VINYL.
  2. Place the record on the platter and begin playing. See Section 5 (next page) for more details on playing records.

Bluetooth (Input) Mode

  1. Slide the source slider to BT to enter BLUETOOTH mode, the LED will begin flashing blue, indicating pairing mode.
  2. On your device, turn Bluetooth on and select Victrola WSQK Record Player in the available device list.
  3. Once paired, the LED will turn solid blue.

VinylStream™ (Bluetooth Output) Mode

  1. Slide the source slider to BT OUT to enter VINYLSTREAM mode to play vinyl to external Bluetooth speakers or headphones.
  2. The LED will begin flashing green, indicating pairing mode.
  3. Make sure your external Bluetooth device is in pairing mode and near the turntable.
  4. Once paired, the LED will turn solid green. Volume is controlled by the external Bluetooth device.

5. Playing a Record

Basic Operation

  1. Unlatch the tonearm.
  2. Raise the tonearm using the lift lever.
  3. Use the finger lift to align the stylus over the record.
  4. Lower the tonearm using the lift lever to begin playing.

Notes:

Adjusting Record Speed

  1. Use the speed switch next to the tonearm to adjust the record speed between 33 1/3 RPM (default), 45 RPM, and 78 RPM.

Auto-Stop Operation

  1. Use the auto-stop switch next to the tonearm to enable & disable the auto-stop function.

AUTO-STOP Enabled (default): Turntable will only spin when the tonearm is positioned above record grooves.

AUTO-STOP Disabled: Turntable will spin continuously when in VINYL or VINYLSTREAM mode.

Playing a 7” Record

  1. Locate the 45 RPM adapter.
  2. Place the adapter over the center spindle.
  3. Select correct speed.
  4. Place record over adapter, begin playback.

Removing the Dust Cover

  1. With the dust cover open, firmly grasp both sides of the dust cover near the hinges.
  2. Pull the dust cover straight up and away from the turntable, hinges will come off with dust cover.

Replacing the Stylus

Removing the Stylus from the Tonearm:

  1. Place your fingers at the tip of the stylus and push down to the direction “A”.
  2. WARNING: When applying force to stylus, too much may damage or break the cartridge.
  3. Pull the stylus out toward the direction “B”.

Installing the Stylus: (Replacement Stylus # ATN3600L)

  1. Hold the tip of the stylus and insert the other edge by pressing toward direction “C”.
  2. Push the stylus up toward direction “D” until it locks at the tip.

Stereo/Mono Mode

Depending on your speaker placement, your speakers may sound better in MONO mode instead of the default STEREO mode. To switch between MONO and STEREO modes, quick press the power button 5 times. The LED will flash green 1 time when entering MONO mode and green 2 times when entering STEREO mode.

Factory Reset

Quick press the POWER button 3 times to factory reset the unit and forget any previously paired Bluetooth devices. The LED will flash red.
