Setup and Charging
2. Remote Controller Battery Installation
1. Unscrew the battery cover using a Phillips head screwdriver (not included).
2. Install 2 AAA (LR03) 1.5V alkaline batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment. Alkaline batteries provide longer life.
3. Close the battery cover and tighten the screw.
4. Replace batteries if the remote controller's LED does not turn on during play or if the vehicle responds poorly after recharging.

The vehicle is powered by a permanently installed Lithium-ion (Li-ion) battery and must be fully charged before first use.
1. Slide the power switch to OFF (0/4).
2. Open the charge port cover.
3. Connect one end of the charge cord to the vehicle's charge port and plug the other end into a 5V/2A USB power adapter (not included).
4. Charging begins when the cord is connected. The vehicle's body will light up while charging.
5. The vehicle's eyes will light up when fully charged. Unplug the charge cord when charging is complete.
A full charge typically takes approximately 120 minutes, but charging time may vary.
6. Close the charge port cover.
7. Recharge the vehicle if it starts to run slowly or becomes unresponsive.
NOTE: The power switch must be in the OFF (0/4) position when charging the vehicle.

Mega-Wrex™ will illuminate and guard the room as it recharges. Switch off the vehicle and plug in the charge cord to charge and enter 'Guard Mode'. The eyes will light up when fully charged.

1. Slide the vehicle's power switch to ON (I).
2. Press the stunt button or push the remote controller's driving control joystick forward/backward after switching on the vehicle.
Pairing is complete when the LED on the remote controller changes from flashing red to solid red.
NOTE: If the vehicle does not respond after pairing, switch the vehicle off and on again to try pairing, or replace the remote controller batteries if they are low.

Driving
Use the driving control joysticks on the remote controller to move the vehicle forward/backward and left/right.

SKILL CHECK! Remember, steering directions are flipped on the remote controller when you are driving backward!
Hunt Mode
1. The vehicle starts in 'Hunt Mode' once paired with the remote controller.
Drive, roar, and smash everything in sight to charge up its 'Rage meter' until its eyes and teeth are flashing red.

2A. Smasher Mode: Unleash extra speed and sounds. When the eyes and teeth are flashing red, press the stunt button on the remote controller to activate 'Smasher Mode'!

Volume Control
NOTE: Mega-Wrex™ must be in Hunt Mode to adjust volume.
Tap the stunt button 3 times and hold for approximately 5 seconds to adjust the volume.
Repeat the action to revert the volume level from 'LOW' to 'HIGH'.

Steering Alignment
1. Check the vehicle's steering alignment before playing by driving it forward to see if it drives straight.
2. If the vehicle automatically steers right or left, turn the steering adjuster dial to the opposite direction and adjust until it runs straight.

NOTE TO ADULTS: Please follow these steps to remove the Li-ion rechargeable battery pack before disposing of the product.
- Slide the power switch to OFF (0/4).
- Cut the suspension bars of the truck body with pliers (not included).
- Remove the truck body to access the battery box.
- Unscrew and remove the battery box cover using a Phillips head screwdriver (not included).
- Unplug the Li-ion battery pack and dispose of it in accordance with your local battery collection and recycling regulations.
Storage
Store the remote controller under the vehicle when not in use.
Time Out
The vehicle will enter sleep mode if left idle for approximately 10 minutes to conserve battery life.
To resume normal play, slide the vehicle's power switch to OFF then ON again, and then push the remote controller's driving control joystick forward/backward to re-pair the vehicle and remote controller.
