This product contains no user serviceable parts. If the product and any of its accessories are malfunctioning or if it has been dropped or damaged, only a qualified electrician should carry out repairs. Improper repairs may place the user at risk of harm.

- Do not use any accessories other than those supplied.
- Do not use any power supply other than the cable supplied with the product. Incompatible power sources may damage the unit and place the user at risk of harm.
General Usage and Battery Safety
- Do not cover this product.
- Do not use this appliance outdoors.
- Do not store the product in direct sunlight or in high humidity conditions.
- Do not move the product whilst it is in use.
- It is imperative to unplug the USB cable after the product has been used, before it is cleaned and whilst being repaired.
- The product should be used on a stable surface.
- This product is intended for domestic use only. It should not be used for commercial purposes.
- Warning: Keep the unit away from flammable materials.
Battery Safety
- The battery unit should not be placed near excessive heat sources, such as fire.
- The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.
- Exhausted batteries should be removed from the product to avoid leakage.
- In the event of the battery leaking, do not allow any liquid to come into contact with the skin or eyes.
- If contact has been made, wash the affected area with copious amounts of water and seek medical advice.
- Keep batteries out of reach of children.
- Avoid storing in direct sunlight.
- Do not dispose of the battery unit in a fire.
- Do not crush, puncture, dismantle or otherwise damage the battery.
- Do not store above 60 °C.
- Do not expose batteries to heat or fire as they may explode.
- Do not subject the battery (batteries) to mechanical shock.
- Do not dispose of the exhausted battery in your household waste.
- To dispose of the exhausted battery, take it to your local recycling station. Contact your local government offices for further details.

Description of Parts
The Beldray Ostrich LED Lamp features the following components:
- 1. Lamp base: The main body of the lamp, housing the electronics.
- 2. Flexible neck: Allows for adjustable positioning of the lamp head.
- 3. LED bulb: The light source.
- 4. On/Off switch: Used to turn the lamp on and off.
- 5. Smart touch brightness control: Allows adjustment of light intensity.
- 6. Aux. input port: Port for connecting the USB charging cable.

Instructions for Use
Charging the Battery
The LED lamp is fitted with a 3.7 V 500 mAh Li-ion battery. It is recommended that the battery is charged fully before first use; this will take approximately 3 hours.
Connect the USB charging cable: Aux. end to the Aux. input port on the back of the LED lamp, and the other end to a compatible power source (5 V 1 A).
Once the LED lamp is fully charged, carefully disconnect both ends of the USB charging cable and store it safely for future use.
Using the LED Ostrich Lamp
- Position: Place the LED lamp onto a flat, stable surface, where it cannot be accidentally knocked over.
- Adjust: Adjust the angle of the LED lamp by carefully bending the flexible neck, until it is in the required position.
- Turn On: To turn on the LED lamp, slide the On/Off switch to the 'On' position.
- Adjust Brightness: Press and hold the smart touch brightness control to adjust the brightness of the LED lamp.
- Turn Off: Turn off the LED lamp by sliding the On/Off switch to the ‘Off position.
Care and Maintenance
Wipe the LED lamp with a soft, damp cloth and allow to dry thoroughly.
Do not immerse the LED lamp in water or any other liquid.
Never use harsh or abrasive cleaning solvents or scourers, as this could cause damage.
Do not:
- Immerse the LED lamp in water or any other liquid.
- Expose the LED lamp to liquid, moisture or humidity to avoid the unit's internal circuit being affected.
- Use any abrasive cleaning solvents to clean the LED lamp as this can cause damage.
- Expose the LED lamp to sharp objects, which may cause damage.
- Expose the LED lamp to extremely high or low temperatures as this will shorten the life of electronic devices, destroy the battery or distort certain plastic parts.
- Drop the LED lamp as the internal circuit may become damaged. Attempt to disassemble the LED lamp as this may cause damage to the unit.
- Dispose of the LED lamp in a fire, as it will result in an explosion.
