Instructions for Use

Before First Use

When using this Convector Heater for the first time, a slight odour may be emitted. This is normal and will subside after a few uses.

Place the Fan Heater on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface in an open space, at least 1 metre away from furniture, curtains or any other flammable materials. Check that the air intake on the rear of the Fan Heater is not blocked.

Setting Up the Convector Heater to Free Stand

  1. Attach the two moulded feet to the base of the Convector Heater with the 4 small screws provided, using a Philips screwdriver.
  2. Place the Convector Heater on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface in an open space, at least 1 metre away from furniture, curtains or any other flammable materials.
  3. Ensure that the air intake on the base of the Convector Heater is not blocked.

Wall Mounting the Convection Heater

  1. Choose the desired position for the Convector Heater, ensuring that it is at least 1 metre away from furniture, curtains or any other flammable materials.
  2. With a pencil, make two marks on the wall 418 mm apart. Use a spirit level to guarantee that the marks are level and that they allow sufficient space between the bottom of the Convector Heater and the floor.
  3. Check that the air intake of the Convector Heater is not blocked.
  4. On the underside of the Convector Heater, fit two of the wall brackets (one left and one right) to the inner hole at the rear using two of the small screws, ensuring that the bracket faces downwards.
  5. Drill and plug the wall where the two marks have been made and then screw the other two brackets provided into the wall, using the two large screws. Check that the left and right brackets face inwards towards each other and that the slots on the arms of the wall brackets face upwards.
  6. Hold the Convector Heater at both sides and carefully slide it onto the wall mounted brackets, until it slots into position on the mounting slots.
  7. On the wall, mark the positions for where the lower brackets will lie against the wall, then remove the Convector Heater from the upper brackets. Drill and plug where the two marks have been made and then screw the brackets provided into the wall.

Using the Convection Heater

Plug Convector Heater into the mains power supply.

To operate the Convector Heater on a medium power setting (1250 W), turn on the top switch only. To operate on a lower power setting (750 W), turn on the lower switch only. To operate at the highest power setting (2000 W), turn on both switches together.
