This instruction manual provides essential information for the installation, operation, and warranty of the Artika Vivian™ LED ceiling light. Please read carefully and keep for future reference.
Safety Precautions
CAUTION: If using a dimmer, it must be LED compatible.
IMPORTANT: The installer and/or user must read, understand, and follow these instructions before installing the product. Failure to do so may result in product malfunction, void the warranty, and the manufacturer will not be held responsible for any issues. We recommend installation by a certified electrician.
WARNING: Risk of electrical shock. Turn off the main electrical supply from the fuse box/circuit breaker before installing or performing maintenance. Do not use this product outdoors.
Included Hardware and Parts
The following hardware and parts are included with your light fixture:
- A: Mounting Bracket - Used to secure the fixture to the ceiling. (Diagram Description: A metal bracket with holes for mounting and a central threaded rod.)
- B: Wire Connector - For connecting electrical wires. (Diagram Description: Small plastic connector with screw terminals.)
- C: Fixation Screw - Used for mounting the bracket. (Diagram Description: Standard screws.)
- D: Decorative Nut - Used for final aesthetic attachment. (Diagram Description: A decorative cap or nut.)
- E: LED Ceiling Light Fixture - The main body of the light. (Diagram Description: The main ceiling light unit with multiple light sockets.)
- F: Glass Diffuser - Covers the light sources. (Diagram Description: Circular glass panels.)
Note: One extra decorative nut (D) is included.
Replacement Parts
Replacement Glass Diffusers (Part F) are available under model number VIV-GL.
To order replacement parts, please contact Artika Customer Service. Service is available only in the USA and Canada.
Installation Guide
Follow these step-by-step instructions for installation. You will need a screwdriver.
Step 1: Mounting Bracket Installation
Diagram shows the mounting bracket (A) being attached to the electrical box using screws (C).
- Secure the mounting bracket (A) to the electrical box in the ceiling using the provided screws (C).
Step 2: Connecting the Wires
Diagram shows the wiring connections. Wires from the ceiling (Black/Line, White/Neutral, Ground) are connected to the corresponding wires from the fixture using wire connectors (B).
- Connect the wires from the ceiling to the fixture wires:
- Connect the Ground wire (G) from the fixture to the ground wire in the ceiling box.
- Connect the White wire (N) from the fixture to the neutral (White) wire from the ceiling.
- Connect the Black wire (L) from the fixture to the hot (Black) wire from the ceiling.
- Use the wire connectors (B) to secure each connection.
Step 3: Final Installation
Diagram shows the main light fixture (E) being attached to the mounting bracket and the glass diffusers (F) being placed onto the fixture.
- Carefully attach the main LED ceiling light fixture (E) to the mounting bracket.
- Install the glass diffusers (F) onto the fixture.
- Use the decorative nut (D) to secure the fixture if applicable.
Warranty Information
Artika For Living Inc. offers a three (3) year limited warranty against manufacturing defects from the date of purchase for residential use only. This warranty is valid for the original owner in the USA and Canada and is non-transferable. It does not apply to commercial applications or retailers. An original sales receipt is required for all warranty claims.
The remedy under this warranty is product or part replacement at Artika's discretion, not exceeding the original purchase price.
This warranty is valid only for products installed according to the building code, local laws, and the provided instruction manual. It does not cover products installed incorrectly, subjected to abnormal use, normal wear and tear, misuse, negligence, vandalism, improper maintenance, accidents, or alterations.
The warranty excludes accessories such as bulbs or batteries and does not cover labor or transportation costs.
