Important Safety Precautions
- Do not operate the volume so high that you cannot hear your surroundings.
- Use caution in potentially hazardous situations.
- Do not operate while driving; prioritize safe driving.
- Set volume to a comfortable, low level and increase slowly.
- If you notice smoke, strange noises, or odors, turn off the power immediately and consult a dealer or service center.
Installation Precautions
- Consult a professional installer for installation.
- Do not attempt self-installation or servicing.
- Refer repairs to a qualified BOSS AUDIO SYSTEMS Service Center.
- Wire directly to the vehicle's battery. Disconnect the negative terminal before wiring.
- If extending the main power wire, use an optional 20 Ampere fuse and fuse holder.
- Keep the ground cable short and use high-quality copper wire.
- The MGR450B is IPX6 weather-resistant; do not submerge it in water.
- Do not use abrasive cleaning materials on the lens or bezel.
- Use only provided installation parts.
- Caution: Disconnect the (-) battery cable before installation to avoid shorts. Use only with a 12-Volt battery and negative grounding.
- When replacing the fuse, use only the specified rating (15A AGU type). Insulate all unused wires.
- Connect the black ground wire first. Ensure it is properly connected to the vehicle's metal frame or battery.
- Ground the power amp and other systems separately.
- Caution: Do not ground or short the speaker leads.
Mounting Methods
- Make the mounting hole: 3.00" (76mm) diameter.
- Install studs into the rear of the chassis. Adjust M4 nuts for mounting depth. Snap off break-away tabs as needed.
- Slip the unit through the hole cutout and into the U-bracket.
- Secure and waterproof the wiring.
- Firmly tighten the remaining M4 nuts.
Tools Needed: Measuring Tape/Ruler, Wrench/Pliers, Hole Saw, Crimp Tool.

Troubleshooting
