Use the lamp holder tool for replacing lamps. Ensure proper wire sizing and terminal screw tightening (1.0 N·m) to prevent overheating.
Instructions
Panel Mounting: Detailed steps are provided for mounting operators onto panels, including the use of a locking ring wrench and proper tightening torque (max 2.0 N·m) to avoid damage. Instructions cover removing and installing contact blocks, transformers, and full voltage units.
Lamp Replacement: Lamps can be replaced using the lamp holder tool from the front or by removing the contact block. LED lamps in unibody pilot lights cannot be replaced.
Marking: Legends and symbols can be engraved on built-in marking plates or applied via printed mylar film (not supplied).
Electrical Considerations:
- Contact Bounce: Acknowledge contact bounce (approx. 20 ms) for circuit design.
- Noise Precautions: For unibody pilot lights in noisy environments, connect a noise suppressor across terminals X1 and X2.
- Key Selector Switch Operation: Ensure the key is fully inserted for proper operation.
- LED Illumination: Guidelines on voltage ratings (±10% of rated voltage), DC power sources (switching power supply recommended), and protection against extraneous noise, transient voltage, or current.
- Countermeasures against Dim Lighting: Suggestions include using shunt resistors in parallel with LEDs to mitigate leakage current effects.
