Multiple Holders for Selection:

There are three holders available for this camera:

Holder 1 (Metal): Requires drilling. Includes nuts and spring washer, wrench, 4x screws, and double-sided adhesive.

Holder 2 (Silicone): Does not require drilling. Includes double-sided adhesive and 2x screws.

Holder 3 (Metal): Requires separate purchase and drilling. For hidden installation.

This is a newly designed car camera that can be used as a rear, front, or side view camera. The camera body can be rotated 180 degrees for upside-down installation. It can be mounted in various positions according to your needs.

Front View:

No Need to Drill a Hole: Illustrated with Holder 2 installation on a vehicle's front grille.

Need to Drill a Hole: Illustrated with Holder 1 installation on a vehicle's front bumper/grille.

Rear View:

No Need to Drill a Hole: Illustrated with Holder 2 installation on a vehicle's rear.

Need to Drill a Hole: Illustrated with Holder 1 installation on a vehicle's rear.

Horizontal Vertical (upside-down): Illustrated with Holder 3 for hidden installation on the vehicle's rear.

NOTE: Holder 3 needs to be purchased separately.

Side View:

No Need to Drill a Hole: Illustrated with Holder 2 installation on a vehicle's side.

Need to Drill a Hole: Illustrated with Holder 1 installation on a vehicle's side.

Need to Drill a Hole for Camera Body: Illustrated with Holder 3 for hidden installation on the vehicle's side.

NOTE: Holder 3 needs to be purchased separately.

Three Switcher Cables:

The camera features three switcher cables for enhanced functionality:

• Guide Line Control: Keep the green wire connected to display the guide line. Cut the green wire to turn off the guide line.
• AHD/CVBS Signal: The camera outputs AHD video signal by default. To switch to CVBS video signal, cut the orange wire.
• Mirror Image Control: The camera displays a mirror image (rear view) by default. To switch to a non-mirror image, cut the white cable.

(Please reconnect to power supply after cutting or reconnecting wires.)

Image Comparison: Visuals show 'Mirror control (Rear Front)' and 'Default' settings.

Signal Control: Visuals indicate 'AHD' and 'CVBS' signals.

Parking Line Switch: Visuals show guide lines for parking.

Camera Body Adjustable:

The backup camera's viewing angle can be adjusted using the included mini wrench to achieve a perfect view, regardless of whether the mounting position is too low or too high. Angle adjustment is shown with markings for 45° and 260°.

Wire Program:

26FT Video Cable:

• A Connects to B
• C Connects to Reversing/Brake/Turning Light Positive or ACC
• Power Cable: Connects to 4Pin Connection.
• Trigger Wire: Connects to Head Unit's Trigger Wire (not included).
• Connections: 1 - Black to GND, 2 - Red to Reversing Light Positive, Brake Light Positive, Turning Light Positive, or ACC.
• Backup Camera: Connects via 4Pin Connection.

5FT Video Cable:

• Power Cable: Connects to 4Pin Connection.
• Connections: 1 - Black to GND, 2 - Red to Reversing Light Positive, Brake Light Positive, Turning Light Positive, or ACC.
• Backup Camera: Connects via 4Pin Connection.

If the radio stereo head unit monitor lacks a trigger wire, it does not need to be connected. For different applications, the camera can be connected to various power supplies.

Note:

• Before final installation, test the camera to ensure it is functioning correctly.
• The camera uses a 4-pin connector cable, allowing installation in most positions without drilling. If drilling is required, use an M8 drill bit.
• For installations requiring drilling, protect the cables from sharp metal edges using silicone caulk or a rubber grommet.
• Securely wrap connection points with the included electrical tape.
• Except for the silicone shell, other shells require drilling for installation.

Attention:

GreenYi 4-pin cameras require the included power cable for connection to monitors (DVR, dash, or mirror monitors) to function correctly. Direct connection without the power cable will result in malfunction.

Compatibility issues may arise with other 4-pin cameras due to differing PIN definitions and voltage power supplies. GreenYi cameras are generally not compatible with other brands' dash cams or mirror dash cams.

All GreenYi wired cameras require monitors with RCA connectors for installation.

ATTENTION: This camera has an RCA video output plug and requires monitors with RCA video input. It is NOT COMPATIBLE WITH DASH CAM, MIRROR CAM, GPS, etc.

Not Suitable: Icons indicate incompatibility with Dash Cam, GPS, and Mirror Cam.

FAQ

Q: Why is there no image shown on the screen?

A: 1. Ensure all wire connections are secure. 2. Verify the power supply is a stable 12V voltage (a 12V DC power adapter filter rectifier may be needed, especially for Dodge, VW, AUDI, BMW, Mercedes Benz vehicles). 3. For Android head units, confirm trigger wires are correctly connected. 4. Test the camera using another device with an RCA connector, like a TV. 5. Try swapping parts (video cable, power cable, camera) to identify the issue.

Q: Why is the screen blurry, flickering, or showing horizontal/vertical strips?

A: 1. Ensure all wire connections are secure. 2. Verify the power supply is a stable 12V voltage. 3. Use a different ground point (an iron part) and insulate power/video plugs with electrical tape to prevent interference.

Q: Why are there two guidelines shown on the monitor?

A: Some monitors have default guidelines. If you wish to use only the camera's guideline, adjust the monitor's settings to disable its default guideline.
