Product Overview
The Logitech Keyboard Folio Mini is a protective case and keyboard designed for the iPad mini. It offers two viewing positions for typing and browsing.

Getting Started and Connecting to Your iPad mini
Initial Setup:
- Open the Keyboard Folio Mini and insert your iPad mini into the support.
- Adjust the iPad mini support to the typing position (refer to "Using the Keyboard Folio Mini" section for details).
Connecting via Bluetooth:
- Turn on the keyboard using the power switch. The Bluetooth indicator light will blink blue, indicating it is discoverable and ready for pairing. The keyboard remains discoverable for 15 minutes upon first power-on.
- On your iPad mini, ensure Bluetooth is enabled (Settings > Bluetooth > On).
- Select "Logitech Keyboard Folio Mini" from the list of available devices on your iPad mini.
- If prompted for a PIN, enter it using the Keyboard Folio Mini.
- Once the connection is established, the Bluetooth indicator light will turn solid blue briefly before turning off.
Connecting to a Different iPad mini:
- Ensure the keyboard is powered on.
- Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on the new iPad mini (Settings > Bluetooth > On).
- Press the Bluetooth connection button on the keyboard. The keyboard will be discoverable for 3 minutes.
- Select "Logitech Keyboard Folio Mini" from the new iPad mini's device list.
- Enter the PIN if prompted.
Using the Keyboard Folio Mini
Protection During Transport:
- Insert your iPad mini into the support.
- Close the Keyboard Folio Mini.
Viewing Positions:
The Keyboard Folio Mini offers two positions:
- Typing Position: Place the iPad mini support in the typing position, aligning it with the integrated magnet to secure it. Turn on the keyboard.
- Navigation Position: Place the iPad mini support in the navigation position. Remember to turn off the keyboard to conserve battery life.
The keyboard automatically enters sleep mode after a period of inactivity in the typing position. Press any key to wake it.
Indicator Lights
Battery Status Light:
- Flashing Green: Battery is charging.
- Solid Green: Battery is charged (over 20%).
- Red: Battery level is low (under 20%). Please charge the battery.
Bluetooth Indicator Light:
- Fast Blue Flashing: Keyboard is in discovery mode, ready for pairing.
- Slow Blue Flashing: Keyboard is attempting to reconnect to the iPad mini.
- Solid Blue: Bluetooth pairing or reconnection was successful.
Function Keys
The Keyboard Folio Mini includes dedicated function keys for enhanced productivity:
- Home: Returns to the iPad mini's home screen.
- Fn + 1 (Lock Screen): Locks or unlocks the iPad mini screen.
- Fn + 2 (Siri): Activates Siri for voice commands, messaging, calls, and scheduling.
- Fn + 3 (Search): Initiates the iPad mini's search function.
- Fn + 4 (Change Language): Switches the keyboard language.
- Fn + 5 (Virtual Keyboard): Shows or hides the on-screen keyboard.
- Fn + 6 (Slideshow): Starts a slideshow.
- Fn + 7 (Previous Track): Skips to the previous audio track.
- Fn + 8 (Play/Pause): Controls media playback.
- Fn + 9 (Next Track): Skips to the next audio track.
- Fn + 0 (Mute): Mutes audio output.
- Fn + Minus: Decreases volume.
- Fn + Plus: Increases volume.
- Fn + X (Cut): Cuts selected text.
- Fn + C (Copy): Copies selected text.
- Fn + V (Paste): Pastes copied text.
- Fn + Left Arrow: Selects text to the left, word by word.
- Fn + Right Arrow: Selects text to the right, word by word.
- Fn + Spacebar: Switches between open applications.
Note: To use function key options, press and hold the Fn key, then press the desired function key.
Charging the Battery
If the status light is red, the battery needs charging.
- Connect the micro-USB cable to the keyboard's charging port and the other end to a USB port on your computer.
- The status light will flash green while charging.
- Charge the battery until the status light turns solid green.
Battery Information:
- A full charge provides approximately 3 months of use with about 2 hours of daily usage.
- Charge the battery if the status light briefly turns red after powering on the keyboard.
- Turn off the keyboard when not in use to conserve battery power.
- The keyboard enters sleep mode if left idle in the typing position. Press any key to wake it.
Battery Disposal
When the product reaches the end of its life:
- Carefully remove the top cover of the keyboard using a screwdriver.
- Disconnect and remove the battery from the circuit board.
- Dispose of the product and battery according to local regulations.

Troubleshooting
Keyboard Not Working:
- Wake the keyboard from sleep mode by pressing any key.
- Turn the keyboard off and then back on.

- Re-establish the Bluetooth connection between the keyboard and your iPad mini.
