Installation Procedure

Installing this industrial chiller is straightforward. Follow these steps for the initial setup:

  1. Open Package: Check that the machine is secure and all necessary accessories are complete.
  2. Supply Cooling Water: Open the water supply inlet to add cooling water. Do not spill water. Slowly add water, observing the water level gauge, and avoid overflow. For cooling carbon steel equipment, add an appropriate amount of cooling water additive (anti-corrosion water aqua). Users in cold regions should use non-corrosive antifreeze.
  3. Connect Pipes: Connect the inlet and outlet pipes according to system conditions.
  4. Plug In and Power On: Plug in the power supply and turn on the power switch. Do not start without water in the tank.
    • Upon turning on the power switch, the circulating pump will start. Initial operation may produce bubbles, potentially causing temporary alarms. This should normalize after a few minutes.
    • After the first start-up, immediately check the water pipes for leaks.
    • If the water temperature is lower than the set value, it is normal for the fan and other components not to operate immediately. The temperature controller will manage the working state of compressors, solenoid valves, and fans based on set parameters.
    • Restarting the compressor and other components requires a warm-up period, varying from seconds to minutes. Avoid frequent power cycling.
  5. Check Water Level: The initial start may cause a slight drop in water level due to air purging. Add sufficient water to maintain the green (normal) level. Monitor the water level after a period of operation. If it drops significantly, re-check for pipe leaks.
Water Level Gauge: Shows three levels: FULL, NORMAL (green area), and ALARM. Ensure the level is within the NORMAL range.
  6. Adjust Temperature Controller Parameters: CW-5000/5200 series use intelligent thermostats. Adjustment is usually not required. Refer to "Operating status and parameter tuning" if necessary.

Display Panel and Buttons

Control Panel Display: Shows PV (Process Value) and SV (Set Value) with three digits each (e.g., 8.8.8). Includes an OUT indicator. Buttons are labeled SET, and arrow keys (up/down).

Key Functions:

Note: Data must be set and wait for 6 seconds for the module to automatically save.

Instructions for Key Operation

SORT KEYSTROKE FUNCTION DESCRIPTION OF THE OPERATION
1 SET Time setting mode Press SET once to enter time setting mode (red digital tube flashes). Adjust timing time T1 using up/down keys. Short press SET again (green digital tube flashes) to set timing time T2. Short press SET again to save. The system saves memory when setting is complete.
2 ▲ + SET Parameterization mode Press and hold SET to enter parameter setting mode. Select between P0 and P1 by short pressing SET.
  • Under P0 parameters, set timing mode:
  • P0--0: T1 timing in seconds
  • PO--1: T1 timing in minutes
  • PO--2: T1 timing in time (hours/minutes/seconds)
  • Under P1 parameters, set working mode:
  • P1--0: Relay pick-up after delay T1
  • P1--1: Relay release after delay T1
  • P1--2: Relay pick-up after delay T1, relay release after delay T2 (end)
  • P1--3: Relay release after delay T1, relay engagement after delay T2 (end)
  • P1--4: Relay engagement after delay T1, relay release after delay T2 (repeat cycle)
  • P1--5: Relay release after delay T1, relay engagement after delay T2 (repeat cycle)
Example: To turn on for 10 seconds and off for 20 seconds in a loop: Set T1=10, T2=20, P0=0 (seconds), P1=5 (repeat cycle).
3 SET Factory reset If settings are incorrect or data is messed up, choose this option to restore factory settings. Leave the device on and then power it on.
